Slow, complicated, with clones, clones of clones, and clones, clones, clones, Oblivion is pretty hard to follow, assuming that it actually goes anywhere. If you decide to go, be prepared for some confusing time-freeze, parallel narrative stuff, non-sexy sex, and LOTS of footage of a CG chopper. Oh, and there's Morgan Freeman, too, in a cameo that exists...well, I guess it exists because Morgan Freeman wanted to get paid for being in a Tom Cruise movie. A pretty dull, lifeless mishmash adding up to very little.

Definitely a great story line, I wouldn't call it "the movie of the year" but surely a movie that you must see in the theater to enjoy it on the Big Screen. It has a few twists and turns keeping you guessing what's next. I was surprised with the love story part and yes I'd see it again.

It was okay- my husband hated it. The plot was hard to figure out, there were a lot of unanswered questions. The only part of the film I liked was the very end. I was disappointed.

This movie is a visual masterpiece. As I'm sure you've read in other comments, reviews etc. The plot, while not the MOST complex and well written that I have seen, was truly an enjoyable watch. The movie was full of a bunch of twists that truly made the experience a fun watch. Some were somewhat obvious, others took me a second to sit back and go, wow, ok then. Not the best, but still good.

It's Tom Cruise, right? The movie trailer looked interesting. I haven't been this disappointed in a long time. My wife fell asleep and I gave up half way. The imagery was nice. But the story was BORING.
