Do NOT listen to any of the critic reviews. I never do and hardly ever agree with them. Now You See Me is an action-packed one-of-a-kind thrill ride that left me amazed. I hardly ever write reviews (I think in the five or so years I've had this account I've written eightish), but I feel compelled to do so for this movie. Mark Ruffalo played his role like a true professional, and I never thought I could hate (in a good way) a character Morgan Freeman plays, but he manages it! I was laughing my behind off when we first meet Woody Harrelson's character.
This is the kind of movie that people will still be talking about in a decade or even two. So go and see it and take the family, this movie is completely worth the price of movie tickets these days. I saw this movie with my girlfriend who also loved it, and will be seeing it again with my brother and my other friends.
I hope you've found my review helpful, especially if you were on the fence about the movie.

Now You See Me is a fresh spin on a heist movie. Likeable characters, creative tricks, good acting, and a touch of action make for a smart and fun show.
The one sore spot in this movie is the extremely fast paced script. For those with short attention spans, you might praise this. For those wanting a well paced movie, you might find yourself wishing certain aspects were fleshed out more.
There is nothing during or after the credits
If you like my reviews, add me as a fan. I'll add you back!

Entertaining. Nice twists and turns, some surprises. We never got bored, and didn't find much that was painfully obvious and predictable. We don't over-analyze plot points and evaluate how "plausible" everything is -- we just go along for the ride, suspend our disbelief, and enjoy what the film has to offer. If you're not like that, then you may find things to pick at. Otherwise, you'll probably enjoy it as much as we did.

I can only imagine what the movie would've been like had they used the whole script. I remember when I was a tad younger and I would go to the movies and get drunk. My experience watching this movie reminded me of those days.
I kept thinking to myself... "Am I drunk, did I just miss 15 minutes of the movie somehow?", then about 15 minutes later I thought to myself "did I just get abducted by aliens?". It felt as though I had blacked out and missed out on something at several points during the movie. It felt as though the movie was cut up so much, and left so much out. Needless to say it was hard to follow. Not because it was smartly written, but much wasn't explained, and little character development.
Needed another 45 minutes for everything missing. Great cast with great talent. Just seemed like the studio wanted this one cut up to fit it into a 2 hour window. It's a shame. My guess? The powers that be are responsible and killed the potential for this movie.

This movie masters a concept shared by magic and movies: misdirection. As soon as you think you know what is going to happen, it takes you for a ride on a completely different direction. You'll love every minute of this movie as the magical acts exhibited in this movie can only be rivaled by the intricate and extensive game of cat-and-mouse throughout. The acting was solid, the direction was stupendous, the screenplay was mind-bending but the editing and camerawork was a little too choppy. This is Louis Letterier's best work to date. This is a great time at the movies.
