NO!!!
I hated it, they don't tell you what happens to the bad guy, and the main people get killed!! Very frustrating movie.

No country for old men
I can't believe this movie won any awards at all except maybe for worst picture I've ever seen. It was slow moving and the plot left many questions unanswered. There were 3 of us watching the movie and all three of us agree that it was terrible. When it ended, we all looked at each other and asked "What the hell was that??" It needed another 20 minutes or so to attain a closing and understandable ending.

Way to Go Javier!
Two Words, One Name: Javier Bardem.
I have never thought of a character more disturbing.
That Oscar was well-deserved.

The Coen Bros are movie masters!
If you like thrillers like I do this movie is a must see. The Coen Bros are masters of there art and have made one hell of a movie. The acting was spot on and the sound design was brilliant. The sound of the shotgun that is used by Anton Chigurh, the main antagonist of this film, takes on a character of its own. The sound designers take into account the surroundings that the gun is used in. For example in one scene the gun is shot next to a vehicle and the sound from the gun resonates in the vehicle' s body. It's little details like that which make a movie more memorable as well as believable for me. The sound from this gun is very intimidating and menacing,as it should, a key element that I think is lacking in other movies. Another aspect of this movie that I like is the underlining theme that there is a cretin chaos to the world and no matter how far you try to look ahead you can't predict the future. Hence the ending which trows the audience of guard when it strays from the norm.

No Country For Old Men
Lou Ellen ( Josh Brolin) is hunting and stumbles on an apparent shoot out. He finds a case of tons of money and drugs. He knows that he'll be followed but thinks he can get a lot of money for everything he returns home. Little does he no notorious killer Anton Chigure (Javier Bardem in an Oscar winning role) is on his track. Anton will do anything to get the money.
The movie is set in West Texas and is about Lou Ellen running from Anton and Anton running from the sheriff Ed Tom Bell (Tommy Lee Jones). The film is pretty violent and I wouldn't reccomend for kids. There is blood spurting and a graphic injury is shown. This 2007 Best Picture Winner is a very well done movie and I highly reccomend it. Another thing to notice is that this film has no score.
