Please don't waste your money on this one. Sooo bad. If the movie maker's intent was to try to make Noah into a psychotic baby killer, and God a figment in his deranged mind, they hit the mark. You don't even have to be that familiar with the story of Noah to know they had no intentions of telling His actual story, and those of you who were hoping this would be inspiring, well, you'll just be appalled. Just awful.. And to have Noah's wife and father using snakes skins, tea leaves and witchery? Just ridiculous!

The name of this movie should have been "Noah meets Mad Max" This is by far the worst movie I have ever seen behind Water World. Nor sure who's Bible they used for the basis of the story. Don't waste your money.

The good, the bad, and would I watch this movie again?

Noah: The good, the bad, and would I watch this movie again? The Good: The movie was epic and the first half of the movie I thoroughly enjoyed. The way they presented creationism and the reason behind why God brought the flood were presented well and I found no fault. The Bad: I have no clue where they brought this idea that Noah tried to kill his own grand children as this concept or the essence of this concept is not even alluded to in the Bible. I mention this because they used this false accusation as a core theme throughout the movie. A second core theme throughout the movie is that they said one of Noah’s sons did not have a wife, which we found to not be the case. Genesis 7: 13 states, “On that very day Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, together with his wife and the wives of his three sons, entered the ark.” Would I watch this movie again? No, it seemed abundantly clear that Hollywood’s agenda was to take a biblical hero and turn him into a villian.

I did not go expecting to see a biblical account. I did expect to leave with a deeper love of God. Issues of faithfulness, family, Love of God and love of man were seen. The director simply answered the question of what was it like to have been Noah. The answer reflected The times. Movie is must see for the visuals as well as the acting.

You cannot go wrong with this cast. As a Christian, I heard alot of backlash for the directors comments, but its pretty much right on! Some details were taken from the book of Enoch, and other lost books. Excellent film!
