The people responsible for producing and directing this film did a poor job. They took entirely to many liberties with the biblical account of Noah and the Ark. It was a travesty and blasphemy. There are some stories you just do not take dramatic liberties with for the sake of selling tickets and making money. I did not enjoy it at all.

Interpretive Dance Meets The Bible

I was NOT bothered at all that this move did not follow the story in the Bible. It would have been nice if it had, but I was not expecting it. What I did not expect, however, is that this movie was, well, plain and simple, BAD, BAD, and oh, did I mention BAD? I have not been to many premieres, and I am sorry I went to this one. I think the entire audience was sorry, as well. When the movie ended, there was an audible silence in the theater. My husband and I drove home in silence. There was just so much wrong with this movie. It was like watching a really bad killer thriller. Ugh. If you must see this movie, my suggestion is to wait -- not until it goes to video -- not until it's on pay-per-view -- but wait until it is on regular television. That is how BAD this movie was.

As a Christian I honestly thought this film was really enjoyable but it did not follow the scripture in the bible! there was a lot of good and emotional acting especially from Emma Watson and it was also heart pounding but the rock monsters were unusual and they did not mention god once they just called him the creator which relates to god! Overall this is a okay film.

This movie is NOT based on the Bible!

If you are a Christian and are expecting to see a movie based on the Bible, this is not it! This movie was full of crap that goes against everything that the flood was about. First, there was a weird symbol of Noah's faith and it was a snake skin! Really??? A snake skin!? The snake represents the devil, not God. Second, all throughout the movie, Noah went through everything, building the ark and so forth JUST TO SAVE THE ANIMALS! He was planning to kill his adopted daughters child when it was born because it was supposedly not Gods will that any humans survive. Also, Noah wanted them all to die. Another thing that was dumb was that there was a stowaway on the ark who was the king of the evildoers- YEAH RIGHT! This movie is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT AND I'M SORRY I WASTED TEN BUCKS ON IT! Also, Emma Stone is one of the main actresses, best known for her breakout role on Harry Potter! This movie is baloney and crap. Don't support the fake representation of the Bible!!!!!

Had so much little effort. I was really disappointed in the movie from about 10 minutes in. Best part was the last 3 minutes. I rate this as one of the worst movies I have ever seen and was SO looking forward to this. Back to the Ten Commandments! Best bible based movie ever!
