Noah 'Just my Opinion'

Don't go thinking this movie is totally from the Bible. It's Hollywood that's all it is. The way they changed the story was ok. A little disturbing because of what I grew up knowing about the story of Noah. The computer graphics was great. It's still a good movie. Well put together. It's amazing what technology can do.

Poorly executed effects on IMAX look terrible

Monsters with flashlight eyes and obviously superimposed Noah and kin. For $20.00 take your date to dinner and talk instead of seeing a mess of a film where the previews all look better than the main feature. What a waste of time.

too much 'make believe', not enough substance. Needed to stick to the real script, the bible. Too much artistic license. Transformers sci-fi input made the movie more adventure than interesting.

Phony Drama

From the time Noah and family entered the ark until the end the movie, it was all phony drama in an effort to keep it interesting. We new what was going to happen but the director and script just kept piling it on. I couldn't wait to leave the movie theater. On the bright side, Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly gave great performances.

The Bible Comes Alive with This Outstanding Epic

My wife and I loved this movie right from the beginning. The imagery, storytelling, acting were all superb. My wife noticed a few inconsistencies from the Bible, but we recognize this was probably done to tell a larger story, since much of the detail during the time of the ark building and Noah's life, thoughts, etc. are unknown. For instance, all three of Noah's sons had wives at the time of the flood beginning, in the Biblical account, so they were probably older as well. We don't want to give spoilers, but all seem to complement the Biblical account. It fills in nicely, what COULD have been reality for Noah's life and legacy as he struggled to follow God's Calling. I think Russell Crowe did a fantastic job as Noah. The characters were so REAL...and so very HUMAN. I didn't feel preached at all, but comforted, somehow. This is a movie best seen in IMAX and I cannot wait for it to come out on Blu ray. If you have a chance to go see the film, please go!!!!!!!!
