Giulietta Masina (Mrs. Fellini) is outstanding as an aging streetwalker with a heart of gold. The story is basically a series of little vignettes as she tries to change her unhappy life. Just when you think she will succeed, something usually happens to prevent her from reaching her chance for happiness. One of the most memorable and moving endings to a movie ever made. This is a must see for everyone who loves movies - and if subtitles bother you there are other language versions, but the Italian version with the real actors voices is recommended. The cast includes many regulars from other Fellini films. The music score is perfected by Nino Rota.
