I laughed and laughed! John Lithgow is a great actor and outrageous comedy is his forte. All the actors were perfect. This play is as accurate a comment on human foibles and follies today as it was when it was written 130 years ago. It was wonderful to be able to hear and understand every word the actors spoke. Some facial close-ups might have been nice, though perhaps there was too much action to make close-ups feasible. This play transported me to London for an evening and it was huge fun! I can hardly wait for the next National Theatre broadcast.
