What a wonderful experience! I have not attended a National Theater Live before. It was like being at the theatre with all the attendees. The production was amazing!! A story line of perfection, staged so the audience felt like they had a private audience with the former Prime Ministers and the Queen! Loved, loved, loved it!

Terrific. Well written and well performed. Mirren shows us a different Elizabeth than that of The Queen. One issue - the feed from NT went out for about 5 or 7 minutes at my theater so we lost some of the first act. Disappointing.

Excellent film..well worth showing British stage plays live in movie theatres in NYC. It was a sold-out house. The only problem was the theatre itself which was overly warm and humid.

"The Audience" began with a clever idea but executed it poorly. In essence, the author reduces it into a diatribe again the policies of conservative prime ministers' policies/personalities and a fawning over the personalities of liberal prime ministers, while avoiding any critique of the latter's policies. In an interview during the interval, the author noted that the Queen has chosen not to see the show: the evening's highest tribute to her good judgment.

An absolutely "must see!" London theater! Helen Mirren!! And in your own home town! An amazing opportunity.
