An eccentric musician from a small Indian village sets out in search of an old friend who moved to Mumbai in this upbeat Bollywood comedy. Michael Pinto is in his twenties, but he's never left his sleepy Goan village. His naïve perspective of the outside world may not be accurate, but with his overprotective mother by his side he's never had any reason to venture out and learn how things really work. He's got a knack for getting into mischief, and lately he's been missing his childhood pal Sameer, who stopped responding to his letters shortly after packing his bags for Mumbai. When Pinto loses his beloved mother, however, he realizes that the time has come to leave the village and seek out Sameer. But finding his friend won't be easy, and Pinto is sure to learn his fair share of hard lessons along the way. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
