    Pretty good

    This was a great movie, had a good plot but could be slow at times. Norah Jones was excellent as well as all the other actors. Defiantly one of those movies that I thought about for a few days...

    Not the best of Wong Kar Wai

    Substandard work from one of my favorite filmmakers. Check out Chunking Express or Fallen Angels to see Wong Kar Wai at his prime

    Missed Opportunities

    So much tallent and so little to do with it! I feel very disappointed with this one. There is a lot you can do with the old recovering from a broken heart scenario, but I just feel disatisfied with this, we are missing enough realism to make us sit up and take notice. The excellent cast does their best, although Nora Jones and Jude Law is not a good match. Natalie Portman is always totally involved and Director Wong Kar-Wel is very cerebral. I love the cinematography but the screenplay is lacking. If you are into the broken heart syndrome go and have a wallow!

    Girls' movie

    Good movie, excellent acting, amazing cast, but..... it is a girls' movie. But (again)! It's for thinking girls. Don't go there if you a princess and still believe in fairy tales. Must see for girls, who are brokenhearted and believe in life after love. A little bit too long, but it's worth it. Rachel Weitz - amazing!!!!!!!! Natalie Portman - very good!!! Unfortunately Nora Jones and Jude Law didn't open up their characters enough, too sweet and perfect almost unreal, though they were still good. So, it's up to you to go and watch it, but don't expect a blockbuster and something that will blow your mind off.
