    Pretty good

This was a great movie, had a good plot but could be slow at times. Norah Jones was excellent as well as all the other actors. Defiantly one of those movies that I thought about for a few days...

    Girls' movie

Good movie, excellent acting, amazing cast, but..... it is a girls' movie. But (again)! It's for thinking girls. Don't go there if you a princess and still believe in fairy tales. Must see for girls, who are brokenhearted and believe in life after love. A little bit too long, but it's worth it. Rachel Weitz - amazing!!!!!!!! Natalie Portman - very good!!! Unfortunately Nora Jones and Jude Law didn't open up their characters enough, too sweet and perfect almost unreal, though they were still good. So, it's up to you to go and watch it, but don't expect a blockbuster and something that will blow your mind off.

    All Wrong for Wong

I was so eager to see MY BLUEBERRY NIGHTS as Wong Kar-wei is one of my favorite directors. And I was elated to discover that he finally made a movie here in the States! Unfortunaltely his stylistic tone here with this dour story of the drifting love-lorn doesn't translate well here, and some of the dialogue ( especialy in the very artificial gambling scenes ) is incredibly insipid. The photography as always is gorgeous and Norah Jones does what she can to overcome her novice acting skills. Jude Law is embarrassingly awkward. Natalie Portman seems to be th only one able to sync with Wong's cinema verite working method. I really wanted to love this movie! Ended up watchin a few of his great ones like HAPPY TOGETHER and 2046!!
