The time machine going back was very disjointed. No sequence or sense to going back in time. Movie seemed long probably because of lack of sequence. It was Revolutionary France, Battle of Troy, Ancient Egypt, etc. Young child would not know what the point of each was.

My 8-year old grandson loved it, of course. It was entertaining for adults as well -- especially if you like sci-fi back to the future stuff.
The characters go way way back in history and I think a lot of the story goes over the kids' heads, but there certainly was enough to entertain them. Mr. Peabody the dog was so cute with his little glasses and bowtie. My grandson's favorite character was Sherman.

My youngest daughter and I took my 3 and 5 year old grandsons to a matinee to see this movie. It was funny and entertaining. I was really surprised that the movie held their attention for the duration of the movie.

I was pleasently suprised when I took my granddaughter to see this movie. It was very good, moved quickly and had an interesting story line and dialogue for children and adults. Small kids (5 and under) will probably get bored but for over 5 it was great.

This was a very fun & enjoyable movie. My 7 y.o enjoyed it immensely. The movie had a lot of history in it which was presented in a kid friendly way. I would recommend it!
