Cute, but humor over kid's head sometimes

A lot of the humor in this was more adult aimed. Not in a bad or inappropriate way, my 6 year old just didn't get some of the allusion and references.

I thought this film would be a cute little piece of animation that I would enjoy for a couple of hours. Sorry to say that it was flat and uneventful for me. I almost got up and left; but I thought I owed it to people to stay through the entire film if I was indeed going to review it. I would pass on this one for sure. Wait for another animated film to come along if that is what you like to see.

This was a very fun & enjoyable movie. My 7 y.o enjoyed it immensely. The movie had a lot of history in it which was presented in a kid friendly way. I would recommend it!

Something for everyone

Although the movie started out slow, it picked up steam about 1/4 of the way in to it. Stick with it because it is worth it! There is definitely a layer of "funny" that will appeal to adults without offending the kids. Both adults and kids can find something they like in this movie. Enjoy!

Mr. Peabody & Sherman

Just fair. 6 year old was upset with the 'meanness of the beginning. Nothing to compare to a regular Muppet movie or even the super 'Frozen'. I did not watch the show on TV and was not impressed with the movie. Wait for Kermit. Theater was full of kids and way too much talking and running around for the movie to be making much of an impression on them. Many phones on also ... don't think the movie was well received at all.
