    Hot...but not so hot

    the story line was hard to follow, I think a lot of women wanted to see more dancing and less acting... by the way the acting was like a bad porn. The guys are obviously HOT but I dont care how sexy a man is, it does nothing for me to see a guy prance around in a thong!! That killed it for me. I think this movie is best watched on mute

    Weak Story

    If you are going to have a movie about strippers please refrain from trying to throw in a storyline that has three branches and none of them particularly strong throughout. Stick with one and go for it. Don't feel obligated to throw in a love story to make it appeal to women. We wouldn't have cared if there was one considering the stripper aspect of it. The stripper part was a lot of fun though. Would have liked more of the storyline having to do with the club itself to be shown.

    Went to go watch this movie with my boyfriend and his two brothers and a friend and we all had a good time....they didn't like the ending! But overall the movie was very entertaining!

    Magic Mike

    AWESOME!! Loved it, good acting, not for kids because of sexual, verbal and drug content, I laughed, whooped, cried and squirmed in my seat, a must see for any hot-blooded American woman who loves to see a beautiful, virile, sexy bodied man move every muscle in his body...oh yeah a must see!

    EVERYTHING AND MORE THAN I EXPECTED!

    I really was thinking it might end up being a horrible movie but it wasnt!!!!!! there were alot of dancing scenes which is why so many girls turned out.. and the story line was good it was not what everyone expected. i think everyone thought he would just fall in love n thats that but it had a good story behind it.. but most of all CHANNING ROCKED THE MOVIE! THOSE DANCING SCENCES WILL TATTOO MY BRAIN FOR LIFE :) MAKE A 2ND PLEASEEE ( CHANNING HAS TO BE IN IT LOL)

    Awesome movie

    Not only were the visuals great, it wasn't just beefcake & cheese. Plot, character, great acting.

    I don't think you'll see a lot of men in the audience, but it's a great movie. I would definitely go to see it again--at today's prices, that's saying a lot!

    You'll just have to see it for yourself! Go with girlfriends. And if you have a brave guy, take him! He might like it more than he wishes anyone to know :)

    Well they are totally hot!!!! HOWEVER the "love" story part kinda sucked. I could've totally gone without the acting in those parts but if you want to go with a group your girlfirends or a fun group of your gay friends.Yeah just totally go

    Great Eye Candy - Inferior Plot

    You will not want to miss this is you are a fan of Channing Tatum or Matthew McCounnaghy. The dancing and the views were spectacular. However, the plot was too rushed and the ending left you thinking, "Wait, that is how it ends?" Some seriously bad acting by the bit players in the movie, but my friends and I definitely enjoyed our "Girls Night Out"!

    It's not all strippers and sex...there is a story line....

    and, the guys are HOT :) BUT, this movie is NOT for children, explicit language and adult theme! (I suggest seeing it before allowing your daughters to tag along!)

    couple guys find a new profession, pays well and has good 'benefits' ... fun and entertaining, good laughs and the perfect movie for girls night!

    Ladies, just go see it ok!

    It was worth the $8.50 just to see these men dance nearly naked. I was surprised that it had a storyline. But there were slow moments I wanted to fast forward through for sure. Needless dialogue shadowed by loud music. I still say it's a must see. Hell I'd go again. Can't wait for the dvd!

    I was not quite sure about the story of this movie. I arrived early and noticed very few men in the audience, mostly middle age to older. Soon the theater started to fill with women, middl age to teens, and very few men. I thought the three central male actors were very good and the female actress was okay. The women, young and older in the audience reacted wildly when
    the male strippers were preforming. Next to me were 2 young girls late teens to early twenties & I think they had an orgasm watching this movie, I can't imagine their reaction if they were in an actual male stripper club. My middle age female companion who has been to a male strip club thought the movie was just okay.

    Very entertaining! Channing Tatum was AMAZING! Fun night for out with the girls! Its like a safer All Male review that you don't have to worry if you're going to be on stage or brought enough money to stuff the ... where ever $$ can be stuffed. The other gentlemen in the film were also alluring and Alex Pettyfer, Adam Rodriguez...Note: Matthew McConaughey was just a bit creepy though...perfect for the role he was in and he can still move~ :)

    Has a good story line behind it, not just the sex characters. I hope there will be a part 2 as I would love for Adam to have his happy ending.

    Magic Mike

    Ok, here's the deal. If you are between 18 and 45, then you will probably enjoy this movie. I saw 2 middle aged women leave not even half way through and 2 others commenting that they wished they had picked something else to watch. I've seen The Chippendales Show and The Thunder from down under in Las Vegas and both are similar to this film. Channing Tatum is absolutely gorgous and wonderful in this film. Matthew McConaughey might be getting older but he proves that he still has the goods! The movie also indicates what the private lives of these guys are like with drugs, women, money, and booze. It's good but not for everyone!
