    A good start

    The Bourne series is just not the same without Jason Bourne. That said, this is a solid action movie and, I believe, a good start for another character who's wrapped up with the nefarious government program that created Bourne. The pacing is good and there are interesting fight scenes but the political drama side of the story was somewhat of a drag. I'm interested in a sequel though, to see where this character can go.

    The Bourne Legacy is a legacy

    Great movie, terrific plot, outstanding action and performances. Sets up a great opportunity to have the next segment of this fantastic movie series. Gotta see it!

    Bourne Legacy

    So disappointing! I loved the other Bourne movies, but this one was really hard to follow. Then, it ended so abruptly that you are left going, "What? That's it?" I was pretty bummed leaving the theater.

    Bourne legacy

    Was VERY slow at first it took an hour for the action to start, it was a typical bourne movie should have gone a little out of the box more

    If you don't have anything else to do, then watching this movie might be a good option. I really like Jeremy Renner and the Bourne trilogy that preceded this movie, but felt somewhat disappointed at times. There were definitely some exciting scenes, but I felt like there was a lack of continuity that hindered the plot, and there also could have been more plot development.

    Edward Norton was fantastic, as expected, and if they make this into another trilogy, it would definitely be interesting to see Norton and Renner play off of each other. I think they could deliver some pretty powerful performances.,,maybe not to the same degree as Heath Ledger's Joker and Christian Bale's Bat Man, but I don't know if anyone will ever be able to top that. We've been spoiled forever!

    I really liked the actors, but the movie? Not so much.

    Bourne Legacy

    The opening scenes in Alaska were nice to watch and some of the scenarios there were okay. The movies got so much into the Chems that he was pursuing that I felt that the action of the film was a let down. The exception was the chase scene. But I expected more delivery from the film in the way of more action and suspense.

    The Bourne Legacy

    After all the hype there was just a tad bit of a let down. Don't get wrong, it's a great movie, awesome action sequences, it moves right along and you're not left wondering why you came. Jeremy Renner does a fantastic job as a secret assassin. It was just with all the hype put out there I kind of really expected it to be way over the top, instead of just being as good as it is. I highly recommend it as even the wife liked it.

    lots of chases and explosions but no plot

    The other Bourne movies had a thin plot, this time they eliminated that problem There is absolutly no plot! Why is he in Alaska, why are they trying to kill him, why does the scientist go beserk? Why does it end like it does? The acting is good, Rachel Weiss is good in anything, and the scenery is nice, but I am still trying to figure out a plot?? Lots of good special effects, so if you like car chases and explosions you will enjoy, but watch carefully to see if you can find a plot?

    Bouring Legacy.

    The movie seemed to take forever to get to the good stuff and I was confused the whole time watching it. I only went to see it cause Jeremy Renner was in the movie. There was a lot of action packed fights which was pretty awesome but the plot and story line was a little confusing to me, most likely cause I never saw the first 3 Bourne movies. Im sure to some one that seen the others this movie made since but for me it was So-So.

    A decent way to extend the franchise

    When I saw "The Bourne Identity" originally, I was weary of Matt Damon carrying an action movie but I was proven wrong. I felt weary of the Bourne series carrying on without Matt Damon while still tying him to the story with Jeremy Renner taking his place after Damon proving me wrong 3 movies in a row. I have to admit, this is a very complex movie because it goes back and forth between Renner's "Aaron Cross" and the complications Bourne stirred up for the intelligence community and the search for him still. The amazing thing is that manages to weave everything together in a very cohesive way so that you don't feel like you're watching 2 disjointed movies. All the actors are in top form, the script is solid, and the intensity of the actual events unfolding are just as interesting as the action sequences that occur throughout the film. The reason I didn't rate "Must Go" is that I thought the movie could've been cut shorter and been just as good (the beginning dragged at times for me).

    Renner Rocked It

    I love how Jeremy Renner's character is so much different than Matt Damon's was! He had more humorous lines which reminded you even though he has these almost super hero qualities he is human. At first I was disappointed by the ending then I thought, oh wait this means their will be another, which of course made it so much better. I think what most people don't understand is the Bourne series are originally a book series that still has 5 more books after The Bourne Leagacy. I cannot wait to see what Jeremy has in store for us in the next movies. Renner is such an amazing action star and has proven that over and over in his movies. It is great to see him in a lead role. I cannot wait for the next, hopefully, 5 movies. I like that they took the same approach as the Bond movies did. Different actors filling the shoes of the same agent, even though he is Aaron Cross and not Bourne it is still the same premise. I definitely say it is a MUST GO!

    Great conspiracy cover-up flick

    If you are into the Ludlum franchise and this category in general, you're going to enjoy this movie. Though some of the plots were straightforward, it kept my wife and I entertained. Renner did a great job - maintaining the machine-like characteristics of enhanced agents yet, showing a more human side which he portrayed well. The ending of the movie felt a bit rushed - but I look forward to the 5th installment. I'm in.

    Bourne Legacy

    I just saw The Bourne Legacy and was very confused at the beginning, took a long time to get into it and understand what was going on.
    Also I found the motorcycle chase way too long.
    But liked it overall. Jeremy Renner was great and the ending left you knowing there would be another Bourne.

    Not up to speed

    No, I'm not talking about the chase scene in the latest Bourne film, even though it applies. The Bourne films with Matt Damon have been so good they make me forget 007. Well acted, taut direction, great chase scenes, and excellent fight scenes have been the hallmark of this series. The current film falls off in all these areas, but especially the direction (film is tooooo long and boriong in places). That doesn't make this a bad film, so of course you should see it, but don't get your hopes up.

    I had high expectations for The Bourne Legacy since I LOVED all three of the previous Bourne movies (and own them as such). As opposed to movies where the first movie blows you away, but each subsequent movie is never quite as good, I felt the Bourne trilogy only improved with each new movie release... until this one. Why? There wasn't a plot. The movie was done in "Bourne" style - quick fighting scenes, high speed chases, "rogue" agent on top of his game, and, of course, a developing love interest- but I had a hard time making connections or sense out of what was happening throughout the movie. Although there was a couple of references to Jason Bourne and Treadstone, not much else tied back into the previous storyline. I was unfortunately really disappointed with this much anticipated film.
