    Ice Age: Continental Drift

Amazing animated techniques were the highlights of this film in my opinion. There was a hint of scientific explanation of the actual continental shifting and drifting. The story was juvenile and the kids therefore enjoyed it. It is a very loud movie!

    I Love This Movie!

I enjoyed this installment. The characters seem a bit more real/believable and comfortable in their roles and I found the script more current and relate-able. I think it's great for kids and adults alike. I'll go see it again in 3D. :)

    Ice Age Conntinental Drift

I thought Ice Age was very funny. My favorite character was Granny. And when she called for Precious and she came. Were all ham and cheese.

Family fun w/some mild language and positive story line

    by

I recently took my children to see both Brave and Ice Age 4 and I am surprised to say that we enjoyed Ice Age 4 more than Brave. Both have excellent animation, yet IA4 had more laugh out comedy and had an easier story line for my young children to follow. There is some mild language (e.g., idot) but the positive themes (friendship and family) more than made up for the derogatory language.

    Had it's moments

Went to see the Ice Age movie last night and it was good. Not as good as the previous three but good nonetheless. It had its funny moments, but not a break the bank movie to watch in theaters.

    Ice Age 4

I think this was a very good decision by Blue Sky. The story had a lot of meaning and the characters were extremely funny. Two big factors of why I liked it were how the story was put together and the drama between Manny and Ellie. I also loved the voices and characters. Ray Romano did well in this movie, and I liked Peaches and Ethan and Co, and how well they were voiced. I think that the actors were really into the movie. All in all, it was a very well put together movie.

    Continental Drift Touches Upon Mythos

The latest installment of the Ice Age saga is as good as any of its predecessors, if not better. The usual beautiful animation compliments a riveting storyline, which I thought was strong for young children. However, the film maker saves the day and doesn't dissappoint. The characters are great as usual, but Scrat (the saber-toothed-acorn-obsessed squirrel) really takes the cake in this one!

    It's only OK

It's OK - some new characters, including Grandma Sloth, but not nearly as good as the first three. Time to quit. My 5-year-old grandson liked it, but wasn't that thrilled. Maybe worth seeing once, but I won't buy the DVD.

First time movie for my toddler

    by

I was a little afraid since we chose this one as our 3 year old first experience at the movies.
I read it was ok for young ones but you never know..
The movie is appropriate, fun, almost no scary moments or violent scenes and I was surprised my daughter stayed interested the whole time! For us it went really well and the movie is cute and funny for adults as well.
She enjoyed it and was happy which was our main goal. A good movie for young ones.

    We are ham and cheese

    by

Nicely done, with really no weakening of the franchise. Daddy-daughter friction is familiar, with something happening to the dad to make daughter want to take back what she said. Old story, but with enough of a twist to be entertaining to all. Wanda Sykes really did add a much needed kick to the story line, and when the troupe breaks out in song, you really don't notice or mind.

Caution, though. If you plan on taking an infant to the show, there are loud noises that will scare them, as witnessed by the several sets of parents who had to leave to quite them down (and the one set who didn't seem to care if the baby was crying).
