The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
This movie in the first 30 minutes validates you watching it. Emotions run hot as Katniss appears to have chemistry with both male leads, Gale and Peeta. I like them both personally, and if I were ever lucky enough to be able to choose between these two guys I'm not sure I could. The symbolism in this movie abounds, and you want to cry again and again, when Peeta volunteers for Haymitch, when Cinna gets beaten for making the "mockingjay" dress, or when even Effie cries and says "you both deserved so much more". The 2 1/2 hours passes so quickly that when the movie ended I kind of sat there stunned in my seat for a second before getting up to leave. This is just a beautiful, emotion filled, action packed movie which I felt actually did the book justice.
