    Mirror Mirror

Interesting cast of characters - unusual to see Julia Roberts in this type of role, but she did an excellent job. Both my girls loved the movie and it was funny! The request has been made to buy it on DVD when it comes out!! At least I know one present for Christmas!! ENJOY!

    Low Expectations, Amazing turnout!

    by

With two snow white movies coming out, I was rooting for Snow White and Huntsman and thought Mirror Mirror would be lame and stupid. After watching the epic disappointment of Snow white and the huntsman, I decided to watch this movie. And it is way better than the other snow white movie. This movie was funny, very artistic, and had believable and talented actors. Its a good cheesy movie that does cheesy right. Great movie! For any age group.

    A Pleasant Surprise

Everyone knows the story but this adaptation puts in some new twists and it works. It's part action film part romance. I think it worked and it was a lot of fun.

    Mirror, Mirror

Enjoed it very much - interesting characters, fun story line, great one-liners (especially for the adults in the audience) and let you just go away to another world. Left with a good feeling.....

Mirror Mirror on the wall... What movie shouldn't I see

Mirror Mirror, is one the movies I wish I didn't waste my money on.
It was very confusing and to me, very "ho hum."..boring. I would not waste your money on this movie.

    bollywood white.

My daughter liked the movie. It's kid friendly an empowering did young girls as Snow is not a damsel in distress but takes her fortune into her own hands..little people are not left out of the loop as the dwarfs are now a group of renegade bandits as opposed to hard workibg knomes. This movie will be hard for any parent because how many fairytales must one sit through... I felt like I was watching Robinhood & the men in tights where the direction and writing are concerned. And to add to the injury the director ends it in classical bollywood fashion. A song and dance. Were the lyrics not in English, you could have thought you wondered into the wrong film. Kids will enjoy. Parents forced to take them beware and prepared for a nap.

    Mirror Mirror

It was good but not spectacular. I expected more there were scenes that just hung at the end and left us hanging as well. It was a cute movie, not enough sinister from Julia. But my granddaughter liked it and I guess that's what counts.

    Visually Pleasing!

I took my 11 year old daughter with her friend. They both liked it. Loved the crazy, bright, festive wedding outfits, and the all-white ball costumes; the live chess game with shooting cannons; the strong Snow White; the 7 tall dwarfs twist. Didn't care for the slapstick hitting. Also didn't like the Queen going into the mirror and then into the smaller of two straw huts--maybe it was vehicle for Julia Roberts to have a larger role. Nathan Lane was wasted--he was too predictable and just annoying. Overall, it was better than I expected! Fun to hear Phil Collins' daughter sing at the end. She is really beautiful.

I thought the movie was good. I would probably go see it again.

The actress who played Snow White did an excellent job. The Dwarfs were a hoot.

    Great Movie

I was an optomist not wanting to see this movie but then it turned out to be a great movie. Julie Roberts as the evil queen was funny and the twist on queen with the apple was great. A definate must see and watch over & over once it comes on DVD.

After reading all the negative reviews we were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as bad as the critics said it would be. Took my 9 year old granddaughter and we really enjoyed it. Julia Roberts was great as was the supporting cast. Nothing objectionable so feel free to take the kids although 4 and under might find it hard to get into

    Costumes were beautiful.

    Lily Lily Julia Julia

    by ghomer

The main female leads were great. The rest of the cast was dragging the film down with either boring writing or uninspired acting, either of which doomed this fairy tale to middling status. Go see it for the beauty of Julia and Lily then hope the pop corn is good at your favorite theater, have some kernels and a pop and then have a decent dinner with someone you like to help you get over the disappointment.
