Lots of giants
This is an interesting play on Jack and the Beanstalk, where an entire realm of giants appears to have an affinity for the taste of humans. Think of how kids like to bit into and chew on gummies, and you get the idea. The good thing is that there isn't any blood or gore, just a Hitchcock type of cut when thinks get cut, or "bit off". It's a pretty good movie, though there are perhaps way too many giants.
The story between Jack and the Princess is a little cliché, and the term "There's behind me, isn't there?" seems a little odd when used, but it is enjoyable. The special effects are done really well, and the bean stalks are pretty intimidating, especially when they are either growing or falling. If you are looking for some good PG-13 family fun, you'll like this movie.
