there is no highpoint to the movie it keep u thinking ok when is the chaos gonna happen and it keeps you in that mode, other than that it is a good movie i suggest wait for it to come out on dvd then see it, dont waste your money

A capable, well-executed thriller

There was nothing groundbreaking about this film, but very well executed. The plot didn't veer off into melodrama and there wasn't a false note in its execution. The action was top-notch throughout.

I didn't like the ending.

Too Disjointed - Too

While the premise was good, there were too many characters and very little substance. It would have made a better special TV series to develop the characters and plots. Way too much silly blame on big business greed and government cover-up.

Makes you think

Contagion was one of those shows that really made you start to think. It started with a mother and wife coming home from a work trip in Hong Kong feeling ill. Soon she dies and then her young son, followed by several dozen in different parts of the word. You find that the illness can be caught by just touching something that the infected person touched. It follows several different story lines as it progresses across the whole earth killing millions of people. It certainly makes you sit back and think about how easily an illness can spread. And at the end you think if just one person would have just washed there hands it could have stopped right there. After walking out of the movie theater and into the restroom it was funny to see how many people were washing there hands with out even needing to use the bathroom and them talking about how bothered they were. I think it was worth watching in the theater on the big screen. The deaths were creepy, don't take small children.

This movie isn't about action (why most people are disappointed). This movie focuses on how to solve the disease and the process it takes in order to fix. Overall it's a good movie but not great.

Nothing New In This Formula But The Faces.

I love movies. Even mediocre ones like this. Despite the fact this scenario has been done, done and redone, I guess it just hasn?t found the writer yet. Apparently, these film makers were ever hopeful in that regard. For all the talent in this film, it?s a real shame they had so little to work with. I?ll rephrase that. It?s a real shame they made this movie. This one wasn?t terrible but it certainly wasn?t up to the high abilities of its cast. If you?re looking for a diversion, one that will send you running for the hand sanitizer right after the show, then this is your movie. Frankly, I think this is a movie you watch and two days later can?t remember. See it for a discount or wait for the DVD, Netflix or cable. You?ll be glad you did.

Interesting recview of CDC processes with a fewadded political issues. Overall not worth seeing.
