    Red Riding Hood review

finally watched it on DVD and can assure you just because the movie uses the color red well, it is not necessarily worth seeing.

    The Village+Twilight+The Crucible=Red Riding Hood

    by Taylala

I started watching this movie knowing absolutely nothing except that Amanda Freid was in it. I didn't have high expectations. I was WRONG! Absolutely beautiful cinematography; Catherine Hardwicke surpassed Twilight with this one I think. My expectations went higher when I saw that Leonardo Di Caprio produced it. Very suspenseful. Shocked when I saw who the big bad wolf was. Gary Oldman was awesome as usual. For anyone comparing this to Twilight, you will be happy with Amanda's performance in comparison to Kristen Stewarts. (and I'm a Twilight fan, so that's saying a lot) Music played/soundtrack was great. Jumped out of my seat at one part. Completely horrified and cringing at another part. There were two, "puh-leeze", roll my eyes parts, but they were immediately forgiven. Romantic plot was great and believable.

    ON NO IS RIGHT!

I saw this movie in our $1.50 theater, the movies come out in it about 6-7 months after opening night in the big theaters. Everyone I talked to said "go it;s good!" God IT SUCKED!
I thought it was a PG-13 movie but it had an almost R sex scene. thank god i saw it with a friend and we were laughing all the way through making our own dialog up as we watched.
We did get a few dirty looks but we just laughed and kept on doing ti. And I love Michael Shanks didn't even realize he was in the movie until the credits rolled. He lowered his movie standard QUITE A BIT.
All in all the movie sucked, i had a wonderful time making up lines and laughing at the many plot twists in there (i commented to my friend "it has more twists then s darn pack of Twizzlers!!" ) and we almost walked out so many times but we staid cause well we had nothing better to do then watch a corn C movie.
