Awesome movie

What a great movie. Halle Berry definitely delivers and does not disappoint. This is a movie I will be buying when it's available on DVD. I definitely recommend it to anyone.

Definitely Kept Me on the Edge!

I had been afraid the previews gave us too much information and that the movie would be predictable. That wasn't the case at all. I jumped several times and it definitely kept me on edge. I thought the story was very good and the twists and suspense were very good. I highly recommend this film!

OMG - Intense!!

I had read mixed reviews on this, but 4 of us decided to go, anyway. We were so glad we had ignored the negative reviews. There were some flaws in parts of the movie, but we were all captured by the action from a few minutes into the movie and the tension never let go! Halle Berry is good. Abigail Breslin is good. The male psychopath was good. We did leave with some unanswered questions which could have better been answered in the movie, but all it did for us was to make for interesting speculation over dinner. As we left the theater, several people were having reactions similar to ours.

If I had any criticism, it would have been for the directing. A couple of scenes needed some fleshing out, but the criticism is not strong enough to keep me from recommending this movie. If you like intense, GO! (Not for kids or early adolescents!)

Don't be fooled by the trailer

In the interest of full disclosure, I need to state that I am a total Halle Berry fan! However, when I saw the trailer for this movie I was not impressed. However, I knew I had to see it anyway. This movie is suspenseful, and does not go for the over the top action or fight scenes. This movie artfully builds the suspense,and has all the elements of a good thriller.Great date movie! I would strongly encourage you to check it out. The trailer doesn't do the movie justice.

Good Suspense

"The Call" had me on the edge of my seat for much of the film. Halle Berry was good (not Oscar worthy this time) and the story was believable enough to pull me in. Michael Eklund was great as the killer. I wanted to see more of Michael Imperioli but that's because I'm a fan of his. The portion of the film that takes place at the killer's hideaway reminded me of "Silence of the Lambs" but that's okay. "The Call" is definitely worth seeing.

I was surprised at how the movie ended; I thought that the police were going to came and arrest the sicko but I was wrong.

Go to see it and you will be surprised at how some people will do whatever it takes to survive.

A "Chilling" Movie that All Must See!

Despite a cast of slightly above average actors, including Halle Berry, the plot made a "so-so" movie into a near 4-star event! There wasn't a dull moment in The Call, which was capped with a very surprising ending.

An Excellent Call

The reviews were Waay off................"The Call" hit every nerve wrecking emotion in your body. It was a Excellent Action, Suspense Thriller. It keeps you on the edge of your seat with nail biting twists and turns. I recommend this movie hands down. What a great addition to filmography.

Great Movie

I was a bit iffy when I went to see this movie thinking there was too much hype but I was actually surprised. This movie keeps you at the edge of your seat from beginning to end.

Emotional movie.

The movie wasn't what I expected, kind of slow at first but picks up a third-way into it. Halle Berry is a great actress as ever, however the abductee was very annoying but it only added to the experience, it was like an emotional roller coaster. I rarely shed a tear watching movies, this one almost pushed me to the edge. If you're a fan of Halle Berry I definitely recommend this movie.

Best Suspense Movie!

This is the best movie I think I have seen in my life time. I would highly recommend that you try to see it as soon as possible. There is a great amount of suspense and just a hint of comedy thrown in there. It will make you cry it will make you sit on the edge pf your seat. This movie is more for adults, I would recommend no one under 14-15 see it, contains some graphic scenes. GO SEE IT!!

It's a great movie. Its great plot that a 911 operator could help save a little good from a kidnapper. This has brilliant plot and a great ending

I thought The Call was great. It grabbed my attention from the beginning until the end. Yes, there were a few predictable scenes, but there is a reason why scenes are predictable...they work!

Suspenseful

Definitely what I thought it would be. The movie takes you for a suspense filled ride.

Has a bit of a surprise twist at the end - which I liked. Worth seeing.

Rainy Day Fun!

I didn't read the reviews on purpose. Often the so called experts ruin a good thing by poo pooing something as less than classic when all we want is an escape for a couple of hours. Well, I sure did get what I wanted out of this 'escape.' It was rip snortin' suspense and excitement and hair tearing involvement with the characters. I nearly cried in several places as the tension heightened. I highly recommend this heart-pounder. If you like fact paced 'good guy trying hard to catch the bad guy before something terrible happens' kinda cinema, then this is your bag!
