Fun thriller with daffy ending

The Call is a taut well-directed thriller that's pretty suspenseful and fairly clever. The ending is odd--it kind of feels like they shot multiple endings and let market research choose which one they ended up using. This was definitely much better than I expected.

Strange

This Movie was suspenseful, yet it was very predictable,

However the end had a twist that i was not expecting.
I do believe there will be a sequel to this movie in the near future.

I was entertained from the moment it began... i was yelling at the screen and by the time it finished I felt that I had been through a rollercoaster.... Go Go Go!

stupid heroine

Halle Barry makes a lot of stupid moves in this film, which really ruins what could be a good story. They should rewrite the second half of the movie especially the really dumb ending.

Loved it but.

I wanted more in the ending I couldn't see them getting to that conclusion at the very end sorry.. Just wanted a different closing..But I really enjoying this movie, worth the trip to the movies one of the best films this year in how it all played out..

Action packed

It started a little slow and I was a bit concerned that this was not the kind of movie for me, but after the first couple scenes went by it was clear that this was going to be a very good movie. I was not disappointed. My heart was beating fast and I was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole second half of the movie. Yes, I will see this again. Yes, I will bring as many people as I can to see it with me. Yes, I do plan to buy this when it comes out on DVD.

Very good movie - keeps you involved the entire movie

Good stuff. There were a couple of "oh please" moments, but overall, we enjoyed it (and it seems like everyone else in the theater did as well). Go see it.

I loved this movie.... Halle Berry looks spectacular on this!!!
The story is very good, it keeps the audience alert all the time. I would recommend it .... Don't miss it.

Ignore the bad reviews!!!

This is a very good movie. I like the movies Kiss the Girls and Silence of the Lambs. The Call is in the same genre in my opinion. The movie had some very suspenseful parts. It will not disappoint. The acting was very solid and believable. Many people are giving it medium ratings. People are calling it low budget. If this is a low budget, medium movie then we need a lot more of them. I will take this type of move over complete crap like The Host anyday.

Terrific movie from beginning to end.
Had my oldest granddaughter with me, age 14 and it was a very informative lesson about how quickly things can turn bad.
Good lesson for all of us.
Halle Berry played an excellent roll in this movie.
I'm a retired County employee and I've toured our local 911. It takes special people to sit there and take all the calls all day long, not knowing what is going to come across your line.
Life and death situations and also the prank calls...they have to be ready for anything and keep their cool as they help whoever is on the opposite end of the call.
I think this is a "must see" movie for everyone.

Was a very good nail bitting movie. I wish it had been longer though--the ending was good--but they should have done more to him--for those who have seen it know what I am talking about!!

Loved the fact that Halle Berry was able to make you believe that she was a distressed dispatcher overwhelmed with the responsibility of caring for the victims. Suspenseful with a twist! Superb!

Intense but mindless movie. Insult to the LA dispatch services and law enforcement community. I am a fan of Halle Berry, but she needs to do a better job of picking her roles!

Sorry mediocrity is not worth my $

...hmmm I like HB, but this was simply a quick paycheck to help pay the bills for her child custody issues. Why not?... its her job & it pays the bills. BUT, sorry dear HB, this was not up to par for my $$! I'm so sick and tired of the sub quality movies now. Come on Tinseltown get it together!!!
