OK Movie

"The Call" wasn't a bad movie, but the ending is too Hollywood to be believable. Up until Halle Berry's character decides to become Nancy Drew and try to solve the case on her own the movie holds your attention. However, everything that happens in the last 20 minutes of the movie is so predictable and IMPOSSIBLE to believe, the movie just goes down hill.

Just my two cents.

watered down derivative of a poor rip off of a cliche

Once you're past the beginning, which shows the fascinating world of the 911 call center, it's all down hill. From poor acting, to smotheringly overbearing sound design, to predictable plot vehicles, to holes in the script (why doesn't he just take away her phone? This is 2013!) The Call is a groaner. A disappointment. Save you money.

It's a good movie kept me on feet. I just wanted to see what going to happen the person at the end. And if the police officers was going to get to him. But other then that I will buy the DVD when it comes available.

stupid heroine

Halle Barry makes a lot of stupid moves in this film, which really ruins what could be a good story. They should rewrite the second half of the movie especially the really dumb ending.

Loved it but.

I wanted more in the ending I couldn't see them getting to that conclusion at the very end sorry.. Just wanted a different closing..But I really enjoying this movie, worth the trip to the movies one of the best films this year in how it all played out..

Mother of teenage daughters

This was a very good movie but very hard to watch! I tell both of my teen daughters just how quick this can happen! This is a mothers worst nightmare! I think ever mother/daughter must see this! There are so many CRAZIES in this world and this happens everyday! Very good movie and a "MUST GO" ......

This movie was AWESOME, suspenseful, sad and scary. It was totally wonderfu! I posted on my FB that it was a MUST SEE movie and that Halle Berry was terrific. Willl definitely watch it again!

The movie was surprising a good movie! However, the ending could have been a bit better. You always want a little closure. See the girl getting back to her parents; and Halle out to dinner with her boyfriend, or how did they emerge from this situation. The ending sucked in comparison to the rest of the movie which was great.

I LOVED THIS MOVIE...BEGINNING TO END...IT WAS SUSPENSEFUL...I LOVED THE CHARACTERS...GREAT CHEMISTRY...IT WAS A THRILLER...YOU DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT...IT CAPTURED MY ATTENTION THE ENTIRE TIME...HALLE BERRY WAS GREAT!!

Edge of seat.

The movie kept you on the edge of your seat the whole time. Many shocking moments. Really enjoyed the show except the ending could have played out better.

Good but up to a point....

Enjoyed the movie it was a kind of on the edge of your seat thriller..and you could not help after seeing this to realize how much pressure and importance those 911 operators go thru. But at the point where Holly Berry starts going after the the killer on her own..i thought the picture took a more unbelivable turn..and the very end..was a turn off as well..i though. I would have preferred her be at the helm with the 911 and perhaps her b/f cop would have played a part in the showdown..to me it was like a very good movie but they had multiple endings to choose from..and they didn't pick the good one!!! But worth seeing anyhow.. Ms. Berry is very good as usual and cute as anything...

I was entertained from the moment it began... i was yelling at the screen and by the time it finished I felt that I had been through a rollercoaster.... Go Go Go!

Good one

Nice tension portrayed throughout the movie without going too overboard on the cheesy stuff. Satisfying ending. The entire theater was either gasping out loud or clapping. Go see it.
