It was a very good movie> Not your typical movie that you can predict, one where you know what is going to happen. It was funny everyone in the theater kept talking and telling her what to do.. I enjoyed it and it is a must see. It definitely did not end the way you would expect it to. And it did not end in a way that it would make you mad. I liked it and would go see it again.

You like suspense?

This is the movie for you if you like to sit on the edge of your seat for 90 minutes. Very suspenseful, fast paced and good acting with a little twist in the end...

THE CALL

An excellent thriller. It keeps you on the edge of your seat with countless twists and turns. All of the actors and actresses are convincing. I liked that it didn't resort to blood-and-guts to be tense and suspenseful. The premise of the plot is strong, and the action is very believable. I highly recommend it.

Eeeeeh!

It was just ok for me, I could have waiting for it come on cable. I was a little disappointed with the lead, and oh and don't get me started on the ending (are you serious!!!! Bottom line go if you want but for me,it really wasn't worth it.

Thrilling and Surprising.

This one starts off a little too slowly for my tastes but once it gets going, look out! An old-fashioned thriller reminiscent of "Silence of the Lambs," it does do some borrowing from past story models but eventually comes round to its own uniqueness. Also, the characters aren't really as well developed as they could be in order to elicit empathy from the audience but this is no fault of the on-screen talent, who do an excellent job in delivering all the energy that grips the audience right up to the very last scene and even into the credits. This film is well worth its ticket price. See it. You won't be disappointed.

So Good!

I went in expecting nothing but this movie was awesome. Although the ending could've been more complete, this movie had me at the edge of my seat the whole time. Go see it!

loved this movie

This movie was terrific. It was imtense, nerve wrecking and suspensful all the qualities that i look for in a good movie. Halle did her thing and the villain was great also. I would say its a must see.

My wife enjoyed this more than I did. My daughter saw it too and enjoyed it. I was not terribly impressed. It was more like a made for TV movie.It did not hold my attention. I started watching it as a critic after the first 20 mis.My wife was engrossed from the begining to the end. She was literaly sitting on the edge of her seat throughout the movie.

A rare treat

The call is the best movie I have seen in a VERY long time! I was on the edge of my seat holding my breath at various points. Halle Berry was phenomenal!
This is definitely a MUST SEE!!!

Awesome Performance

We totally enjoyed the action, story line and the actors performances. Hopefully, you would walk away from this movies with several lessons if someone attempts to kidnap you.

THE BLACK WOMEN THAT WHERE BEHIND US TALKED THROUGH THE ENTIRE MOVIE, AND THEY WERE LOUD..........TURN OFF YOUR PHONE AND YOUR MOUTH....PLEASE...

Loved this movie...edge of your seat suspense from about three minutes in until the truly ironic ending. Wow. Really really awesome movie! Halle seemed to have acquired a lot of depth emotionally that she had to tap into for this role. Impressive.

had high expectations

As soon as i saw the trailer I knew I had to watch this movie. Anyway, this movie is way too emotional and the emotional acting sucked so bad. There were so many scenes in the movie where I thought to myself "yeah right!". Just too unrealistic especially when it came to the operator (Halle), the pursuit of the criminal, etc. The concept of using something that is as realistic as kidnapping made it seem as though the entire movie was going to have realistic attributes & it just didn't work out that way. Oh and the ending SUPER SUCKED. Too bad, what a waste!

I knew this movie was a thriller. That is a understatement. I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. Halle Berry is a beauty. Morris Chestnut is scrumptious as ever! The story line is really good. The ending was a let down though.

I enjoyed The Call. The storyline was great, it was full of suspense and I loved the ending. I donot really listen to the movie critics all the time because they base their review on their feelings and they do not know mine. So in most cases when they give a luke warm review or bad review, I go and see the movie.
