Great movie

I was worried at first but when I got there it had me on the edge of my seat! I was a ball of emotions. It was really good!

The call

The movie was surprising a good movie! However, the ending could have been a bit better. You always want a little closure. See the girl getting back to her parents; and Halle out to dinner with her boyfriend, or how did they emerge from this situation. The ending sucked in comparison to the rest of the movie which was great.

Surprisingly exciting

I went to see this spur of the moment. I am not a professional movie critic so I will just say you have to see this movie great ending great acting great plot just GREAT 9 out of 10

Mother of teenage daughters

This was a very good movie but very hard to watch! I tell both of my teen daughters just how quick this can happen! This is a mothers worst nightmare! I think ever mother/daughter must see this! There are so many CRAZIES in this world and this happens everyday! Very good movie and a "MUST GO" ......

Edge of seat.

The movie kept you on the edge of your seat the whole time. Many shocking moments. Really enjoyed the show except the ending could have played out better.

I will admit when I was sitting in the theater watching the movie progress, I just about forgot which character was going to be the victim in distress. There were some gruesome scenes, but over all the movie was pretty good. The plot had me been going, watching to find out what was going to happen next.

If you are over the age of 18, I would definitely recommend seeing it :)

I caught this movie in the middle I went to see scary movie v and it was horrible I was disappointed that I wasted my money then I saw this movie and told my son lets see it and wow Halle is awesome I enjoyed the movie and recommend it

Wasn't as great as I expected- Why was it rated R?

This was a good movie. However, I wold not watch it again. It was rated R and I was expecting a jump out of my seat scare and this movie did not do that. I enjoyed the cast and the plot was great, but I just do not think it should have been rated R.

Good if you have low expectations

You will enjoy this movie if:
1. You go in with low expectations
2. You are willing to suspend disbelief

What is good: Cell phones that can keep a 90 minute connection across a large geographic area.

What is bad: Most of the acting.
What is really bad: The last five minutes of the movie.

stupid heroine

Halle Barry makes a lot of stupid moves in this film, which really ruins what could be a good story. They should rewrite the second half of the movie especially the really dumb ending.

Halle brings it

The intensity of this movie if off the charts. I was a little skeptical having read some of the other fan reviews, but it actually delivers. The suspense builds nicely throughout. You really develop a sincere dislike for the antagonist character as he abducts these girls. I have to admit it is disturbing -- and I'm not even a parent. Kudos to 911 operators throughout the country; I don't think I could do that job on a daily basis.

Not a cinema must see

This is a super tv movie, not a must see for the theater. It's pluses are it's very well paced and it hasn't fallen into the Hollywood trap of "lets make a move that lasts 3 hours but we could tell the story in an hour and a half!" Certainly no epic. It's well acted but predictable. The ending has a nice twist that you don't get to enjoy in many films today.

I'd have picked something else and have looked forward to this for my pjs and on my own sofa.
