GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!

I should have know by the title........The Last Exorcism Part TWO. 'Scary movies' nowadays are a waste of time. This movie is ridiculous and NOT scary. Grab one of the classics and call it a night.

The movie was good for the most part, wish it was more scary. Also wish the kids would have attended the 7:45pm and not the 9:45pm movie they were so loud and immature. But the movie was good.

This Should Be The LAST Exorcism Movie!

Where do I start. This movie was TERRIBLE. It was like a bad sleepover thriller and I use that term "thriller" very loosely because it was barely thrilling and not scary at all! I found the most terrifying portions of this film was when they referenced the first movie. This movie does not deserve to be labeled horror or thriller for that matter. I think a more fitting genre would be drama. A demon in love with a human? REALLY? And what was up with that ending? It gave me a flashback to the 70's cult classic Carrie. I do not recommend wasting your time or hard earned money on this travesty of a movie.

Boring, boring, boring and then stupid.
No suspense. No Special effects. No worthwhile dialogue.
No reason to make this movie at all....
They should offer to give back our money.

Pretty Good Movie

I was pleasantly surprised that this movie was better than I thought it would be. For the most part it was scary, but not over the top. Having a PG-13 rating instead of a R rating made it so it just wasn't a blood bath type of movie. Ashley Bell played the possessed girl, and did a very good acting job. Compared to "A Haunted House" the "Last Exorcism Part II" would win The Academy Award.

HORRIBLE rather than HORROR

This movie was probably the all time worst "so-called" horror film that I have ever seen EVER. Started slowed, stupid plot, and ended SUPER ridiculous. Seriously, read this review and save yourself and whoever your going to the movies with some money. It's not worth laying an eye on.

PURE TRASH!!!

I can't believe I fell for this. I was literally falling asleep in the theater. Nothing about the movie was remotely scary. It dragged on and on with NO action. This is the WORST movie since Black Christmas!!! Don't waste your time watching in the theater, on DVD, or on cable.

Should have been straight to video

The original film was a mostly smart horror movie with a really dumb ending. This sequel basically expands the dumb ending into a whole film. TLE2 follows what happens to the girl who was possessed in the first film as she tries to move on with her life. Ashley Bell gives an impressively committed performance but you can see her struggling to overcome the bad material very much like her character in the film struggles to escape the clutches of the demon that still wants her. In both cases the effort is ultimately futile. This movie is seriously terrible, but not in a so bad it's good way (except for the ending which is pretty amusing). It's just boring and dumb with no scares and very few ideas, good or bad. Bell manages to make you root for her character, but she's the lone bright spot in a movie that never should have gotten a theatrical release in the first place.

Nope, it's not even as good as the first one

Don't go see this movie. It's bad. When you move the girl in to the primary role it's not scary anymore. At all. There are major plot holes and no scares.

Was not pleased

The first one was very good compared #2 and the first one was good at best. Was VERY cheesy and something you might rent at a redbox. The characters were very confusing in which you didnt know who was real or who was good or bad. For a demon possession they went overboard with the powers "abalam" had which they show at the end of the movie. if you liked the first one like i did this movie is going to be a total let down. On a positive note the beginning was very good and the plot where she goes to a half way home was good. The mardi gras scene was well put. The actual exorcism was probably the worst one ive seen for an exorcism movie.

NEEDED MORE BIBLICAL MEANING THAN BLUNDERING

MARDI GRAS SCENE: The main character Nell, was either coaxed or strayed away. Going outside at night even after the telephone incident with Chris earlier that day.

EXORCISM SCENE: More could have happened. For instance the brother said "Trust Me" prior to the ritual. Hell, I thought he had some spiritual voodoo haymaker **** going on. Instead, when **** got thick he nuts up! Why didn't he have glowing hands or some ****, after all If this thing got loose the world was over. Then there's the Erika Badu looking chick, she says "Trust Me". She even said this group is the only ones who can help. The leader of the Black Hand Group had a little gumption. Unfortunately there was no backup plan, except to kill Nell. and of course Nell's weakness in the moment of death destroyed the plot.

I really think we need to exercise ourselves from any more exorcism movies. After all none will ever top the original. Big ups to Linda Blair.

To put it simply, it was boring!!! It was nothing like the first, which was pretty good. And, unfortunately, they left it open at the end for part 3. If you really want to see it, wait for the video!

Just ok. Kind of slow and not as scary as the first

If you go, see the cheaper matinee show - or wait for DVD. It was an ok followup if you saw the first. The first was a lot better and much scarier.
