Boring, boring, boring and then stupid.
No suspense. No Special effects. No worthwhile dialogue.
No reason to make this movie at all....
They should offer to give back our money.

You have to evaluate this film on your own.

The title is tricky as this film has nothing to do with exorcism, but it's exact opposite; that of conjuring and bringing the demonic into our three-dimensional space time continuum. If you do not have knowledge of demonology, black-magic, Christianity, deliverance ministry, and exorcism ritual proper, then you will be on the outside of the film looking in and saying, "what the heck is this." If your atheist, or a non-believer, or all of the above, then you may be bored to tears.

Conversely, if you are involved in deliverance ministry and spiritual warfare, then this film will help you to understand how humans are a doorway species for demonic entities. If you are a master practitioner of the dark arts, then of course you will love his movie.

Very tricky depending on your knowledge. It is scary all right and you will be clutching your rosary beads and saying silent Hail Mary's so you do not go home with a nasty demon.

The Last Exorcism

It was not as scary as the Part 1 and was no comparison to the very first Exorcism. There was way too much story and not enough scary. I should have made me not want to go to sleep instead I slept like a baby. The writers need to dig in the old movie boxes and find what makes them scared in order to write something that will scare the bajoobies out of people today!1 I should have waited for this to come on cable!!!!!

SUCKED!!!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY... TRASH!!!!!

I have seen most if not all of the Exorcist movies (definitely saw the first one) and all of them have been very good or good, but this movie does not live up to expectations. Very little effects, all killings are done behind doors and the only thing you see is blood splattered on windows, a lot of talk, and the end of movie the actress gets a car and drives around town lighting up trees on fire and with a little smile on her face... I feel like that represents the director driving all the way to the bank with our money and laughing because he knows he is making money with a very low low low budget movie. I regret seeing this movie and wish I could get my money back! ( have never done a review and have seen movies that have been ok, but this movie was trash and don't want people to waste their money like I did.

NEEDED MORE BIBLICAL MEANING THAN BLUNDERING

MARDI GRAS SCENE: The main character Nell, was either coaxed or strayed away. Going outside at night even after the telephone incident with Chris earlier that day.

EXORCISM SCENE: More could have happened. For instance the brother said "Trust Me" prior to the ritual. Hell, I thought he had some spiritual voodoo haymaker **** going on. Instead, when **** got thick he nuts up! Why didn't he have glowing hands or some ****, after all If this thing got loose the world was over. Then there's the Erika Badu looking chick, she says "Trust Me". She even said this group is the only ones who can help. The leader of the Black Hand Group had a little gumption. Unfortunately there was no backup plan, except to kill Nell. and of course Nell's weakness in the moment of death destroyed the plot.

I really think we need to exercise ourselves from any more exorcism movies. After all none will ever top the original. Big ups to Linda Blair.

Worse than the first one!

I thought the first one was a bad film with great acting, so I would have hoped that they at least fixed the story for the sequel. My mistake! Isn't a horror movie supposed to be scary, original, and actually creep you out? This movie did none of those things. The only great thing about this film is Ashley Bell and her amazing acting, the rest of it should be erased from all cinemas. AVOID THIS FILM AT ALL COSTS! I DO NOT WANT ANOTHER!

Nope, it's not even as good as the first one

Don't go see this movie. It's bad. When you move the girl in to the primary role it's not scary anymore. At all. There are major plot holes and no scares.

Not Bad

The last Exorcism part II wasn't a bad movie but it definitely was not as good as the trailer made it seem. It lacked real plot but the special effects where pretty good. The movie wasn't scary in the least bit and there was a few scenes where it was borderline funny. In summery the movie is decent to watch for entertainment but as for a scare factor it falls short.

Lacked Depth and....Everything Else

By no means am I a movie critic, but this movie just missed on pretty much everything level. I no real story line, no real plot (or maybe I just missed it). Yes it did have some "Frightening" moments but for the most part...meeeehhh

Should have been straight to video

The original film was a mostly smart horror movie with a really dumb ending. This sequel basically expands the dumb ending into a whole film. TLE2 follows what happens to the girl who was possessed in the first film as she tries to move on with her life. Ashley Bell gives an impressively committed performance but you can see her struggling to overcome the bad material very much like her character in the film struggles to escape the clutches of the demon that still wants her. In both cases the effort is ultimately futile. This movie is seriously terrible, but not in a so bad it's good way (except for the ending which is pretty amusing). It's just boring and dumb with no scares and very few ideas, good or bad. Bell manages to make you root for her character, but she's the lone bright spot in a movie that never should have gotten a theatrical release in the first place.

The worst movie ever

Do not waste your money, this is the worst movie ever, is like they ran out of money to do the rest of the movie right after the opening scene, there is no special effects, they just keep showing clips from part 1 and the end OMG you know that app for your phone that you can act special effects to your videos, yeah that's what they did. MOVIE SUCKS.

This was the most ridiculously poorly written, acted and produced movie, that I've ever had the displeasure of wasting money to watch. It was neither scary or interesting. The acting was terrible, the writing was even worse. And lastly, a demon in love with a human? Get serious

Disappointment

My friends and I were so geeked to see this film. We were hoping to pee our pants from the horror. I didn't plan on paying that much to take a nap. :-(
