    There wasn't a plot

I wanted to see this movie because it had Tina Fey, and I love her work. But this was definitely not one of her best movies. It was all over the place, there was just no plot. There was so many things going on at once I couldn't tell what was what. It was disappointing, to say the least. I do not recommend this at all.

Paul Rudd Finally as the Romantic Lead

Its about time Paul Rudd played a non-goofy guy and a romantic lead. He and Tina Fey were very good together. It was a good combination of drama and comedy with some great supporting actors. I enjoyed it very much.

    Admission

I enjoyed the movie however it wasn't what I expected to see from Tina Fey.
It actually had content and not just humor. I laughed and cried. This is a movie for the entire family.

The Worst Movie I Have Seen In The Theatre In A Long Time

The characters were boring. I laughed 1.5 times. In fact, the most I laughed was during the previews when there was a trailer for Scary Movie 5.

Whomever green-lit this movie is a total moron. The only thing that makes me more upset than the $12 I wasted on this unfunny pile of awful filmmaking is that the movie has already extorted $15 Million from moviegoers.

If you want to see a funny, entertaining version of "Admission" with a lesson at the end you can cheer for, don't see "Admission", go see "Orange County", starring Jack Black, Colin Hanks, Ben Stiller, John LItgow and Catherine Ohara.

    Worth the price of admission

Very clever movie that gets a little sappy towards the end. Lily Tomlin steals the show and Tina Fey continues to show how much talent she has. Very clever storyline. Anyone who graduated from Princeton should probably avoid this movie. Princeton comes across pretty badly in this film.

    ...a good rental

The movie was advertised as a comedy yet it was more of a dramedy, so I found it disappointing. Was looking for comedy at the time. Both Tina and Paul did a nice job acting, although the story moved rather slowly.

    Worth Seeing

I sincerely enjoyed this movie. I expected it to be a love story, but it is more than that. It had unexpected plot twists, and avoided being sappy. I recommend it.

    Hooray for Tina Fey

Although not realistic and clearly stittched awkwardly from a novel with eccentric characters Tina Fey and Lillie Tomlim helped by Paul Rudd make watching ithis molvie engaging. Admist the cliches there are some emotional truths. Better than usual Hollywood fluff ron-com.

    High hopes

I had high hopes for this movie as it had two of my favorite people, Tina Fey and Paul Rudd. Both great comedic actors. But it fell flat and I kept wondering when it would all be over. Totally not what I expected. The highlight? Definitely Lily Tomlin.

    Admission

Contrary to the trailer , this is not a comedy , in the regular sense . It's more of a drama with comedic parts . Tina plays an admissions officer at Princeton . Her job takes her on the road to enlist students . Paul runs a little farm-like college [there are animals and the students actually interact with them] that Tina stops at . Paul tells her that one of his students is Tina's child [that she gave up for adoption during her college days] , so Tina wants to help the kid get into Princeton , without miss using her powers [she is up for a promotion] . Michael plays Tina's boyfriend and Lily is her mother [The trailer makes it look like a funny comedy and it does have some funny parts but you might be disappointed] .
It's rated "PG-13" for language and some sexual material [no nudity] and has a running time of 1 hour & 47 minutes .
It's not one that I would buy on DVD or rent , either . If you really want to see it , I'd wait until it comes to cable .

    Admission

It was a very relaxing movie and it made me laugh. I guess
I would have done the same thing as Protia as a....mother(1)
    although it is cheating!

Good movie, keeps your attention on all the time

    It's ok...

    by

I liked this movie but it was not one that I would go rush out to the theaters to see. Not really that funny or romantic for that matter. The movie told a story that, for me, did not pull me in and have me tied to it emotionally. Redbox this one...

    Not so much!

I thought this was going to be a comedy, it was more of a drama. Was it worth $18, no. Wait and rent it. You would think that with all of the talent, it would be hysterical. Lilly Tomlin was the hit of the show.

    Wait for DVD

Entertaining but not great - Tina Fey engaging but not convinced she belongs with Paul Rudd. Lily Tomlin and adopted son best things in movie. Suitable for older teens and adults.
