I wanted to see a stupid, senseless movie that would make me laugh, and this fit the bill. There were lots of laugh out loud scenes. Having said that, this movie had more to do with Marlon's obsession with all things sex than a haunted anything. Ridiculous amount of sexually explicit scenes and innuendos. But seriously, the 10 year old kid sitting a couple of seats away with her mom (quality parenting), has got to be scarred for life by the acts Marlon committed with innocent stuffed animals.

A quick review.

The trailer leaves a lot to be desired, I know; but the movie lives up to the "hype". The movie is really funny and everything you'd expect in a funny "horror parody". But sadly, that's the only thing that's positive about the movie. The movie lacks a true plot and an actual story that's captivating. But I guess that's comedy movies don't really need that. Marlon Wayans & Cedric The Entertainer are hilarious. If you like to laugh, I would recommend seeing this movie. It's a good time (: (don't bring kids under the age of 14 with you though).

Bloody Hell No!

Basically those that created this movie think we're all idiots and can be entertained with the least imaginative, base attempts at humor that are even conceivable. It's a shame that anyone is going to make money off of this collection of mindless, trash. Where's Tyler Perry when you need him??

worst movie ive seen in awhile

went to see this with my girlfriend because we wanted to see something funny on a date. turned out to be the worst movie i have seen in a while and total waste of money. super inapropriate and disrespectful and left me and my date uncomfortable.

Haunted House

We went to the movie last night, it was a sold out theatre... We laughed so hard! It was very funny, the ending wasnt so good, the last 15 minutes kinda sucked.... but it was worth seeing!As far as kid friendly, there are some scenes and conversations which shouldnt be seen or heard by young children. So teenagers maybe, 17 or older..

Better than "White Chicks"!!!!

What do you expect from a Wayans' Movie!?!?!?!?!?!? Alot of people complained that it wasn't scary! I just knew when I saw the trailer, it wasn't going to be scary!! It's supposed to be funny!! And, it was!! Loved it!! It stayed true to the parody. This movie is NOT for children, eventhough I was surrounded by them!!!! Go see it, you will not be disappointed!!

Stupid

Yeah, this movie is pretty bad just as I expected the only reason I put myself through this was because my girlfriend dragged me along with her. This movie has a bad storyline, has a few funny parts but nothing you haven't seen from the commercials I would wait for it to come out on DVD if anything.

Don't Take the Kids

I fell in a classic bait and switch. I as others felt the movie was going to be filled with comedy like a scary movie type but fell well short of it. Please don't take a child as there are scenes way graphical in the sex scenes and Drugs. The movie over kills it on those areas

Complete waste of valuable time

Although the movie had a few funny scenes, it was not a movie worth seeing as a whole. I feel as though Marlon Wayan has done much better movies and this one is a downgrade.

I really wanted to see this movie as it appeared to be a spectacular spoof. I was pretty dissapointed in that it turned out to be quite misogynistic. There were also an inordinate number of very negative homoerotic referrences. I fried made the point however that the genre that Wayans is spoofing glorifies the very same ideals. Very true but still not sure that Wayans himself wasn't buying into it hook line and sinker. Don't go unless you have a strong sense of where you stand on these issues. You might otherwise be really disturbed by what you see,

Funniest Movie I've Seen In a While

This has to be one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while. Don't expect a perfect plot line or oscar nominating acting, but if you're looking for something to entertain you for the full 90 minutes then SEE THIS MOVIE!

HILARIOUS

Marlon Wayans did an outstanding job being that it is his 1st solo film. I was amazed that he wrote and produced the film as well. I couldn't stop laughing from beginning to the end. I can't wait to see what he has next in the future. If you want to laugh this is a must see movie. Definitely a top pick out of the last 5 movies I have seen in under 3weeks.Great Job!!!!

Definitely not

I did not care for the movie at all. The humor is cheesy and the sexual innuendos are ridiculous. The constant profane language is atrocious. Maybe teen-agers find it amuzing.
