A fun night at the movies with A Haunted House

We went and saw this movie on Friday night, and laughed so hard through out the movie. I was still laughing an hour after this one ended. Marlon Wayons is great, and the rest of the cast was great. Would definately recommend this for a good laugh and fun night at the movies. In the style of the first two Scary Movies, but for my money I enjoyed this more. Still raunchy at times, but even through that you are laughing the whole time. If you like this style comedy, this movie will not let you down.

Haunted House

We went to the movie last night, it was a sold out theatre... We laughed so hard! It was very funny, the ending wasnt so good, the last 15 minutes kinda sucked.... but it was worth seeing!As far as kid friendly, there are some scenes and conversations which shouldnt be seen or heard by young children. So teenagers maybe, 17 or older..

An Overall Disappointment

It was a total waste of my $15. Even the movie previews won't tell you HOW Rated R it truly is. In fact, it should have been rated XXX, due to the fact that there was too much nudity & sex scenes (especially the mandingo party scene). Before the movie was even over, I had my coat on ready to leave. I was trying so hard to see a point to the film, from beginning to end, but couldn't create one in my brain. There were about 3 funny parts in the movie but that was it. For 2 whole hours, you're left sitting there thinking "what happened". And then, while in the movie theatre, I seen people bring their CHILDREN to see this film. DO NOT bring your kids to see this movie, it is not for them.

worst movie ive seen in awhile

went to see this with my girlfriend because we wanted to see something funny on a date. turned out to be the worst movie i have seen in a while and total waste of money. super inapropriate and disrespectful and left me and my date uncomfortable.

Stupid, But Funny

There are a few scenes that were uproariously funny but for the most part the film was chuckle funny. Mostly my inner monologue was "Okay..." with a tolerant smile.

WHAT WAS MARLON THINKING???

I was excited to see a waynes brother movie, it suck the first few minutes in started i did not stay thru the end i really wanted my money BACK!!!! NOT GONNA BE FOOLED AGAIN BY THESE BROTHERS MOVIES TO ME THE ARE NOW THE BLACK ADAMS SANDLERS AND WILL FERREL OF THE MOVIE WORLD!!!

Too Many Sex Scenes

I really enjoyed the movie! It was funny from beginning to end. However, I think 2 scenes could have been left out. The Mandingo Party in the garage and when Cedric and the Ghost Guy were talking back and forth....too much. Other than that it really was well written and funny as hell.

Better Than Other Spoofs

Okay, I still think the best spoof movie is Airplane, by far. But A Haunted House ranks up there pretty high. I don't think very highly of Scary Movie (all of em), Vampires Suck or other cheesy spoofs like that, but A Haunted House surprised me! It was surprisingly funny and I enjoyed it. Definitely do not bring anyone under 18 to this movie because of sexual content, drug use and f-bombs everywhere. But it's not just about crude humor, it's actually got a great plot to it. Excellent spoof of the Paranormal Activity series. Kept me laughing all the time.

You Should go, Depending on What You Think is Funny

The funniest parts were when the dog died and he totally freaked out ( not when the dog died), and also when Kesha just randomly started dancing when she was possesed by the ghost. There was ALOT of innapropriate parts tho! There was even more of that stuff than the movie Ted! Way too much nasty stuff goin' on in that movie. Over all, I'd give the movie a 5 out of 10, so, in school, that'd be an +F!!!!!!

"A Haunted House"

Movie was extremely funny at times, but almost all of the good stuff was in the trailers.

At 51, and having been a sailor, it was just sickening listening to the dialog. It was BBBAAADDD. This movie is in many ways a very cheap ripoff of the "Scary Movie" franchise. "AHH" just went for the cheap laugh with the vulgar bathroom jokes, absolutely over-over-over-over-over played sex jokes, and cussing for no benefit. I really felt that the movie was just a bunch of bad ad-libbing at times. Now that i think about it, most of the bathroom, sex, and cursing stuff really seemed to just be filler between the half dozen or so decent laughs. That is truly sad for a movie that only ran 1:27 and was out of any real humor by 1:00.

Audience: Immature 18-22 yo males without dates.

Blasphemous & Pornographic

We walked out during this movie. Everyone in it & involved with it needs prayer because this movie is straight from the pit of hell. No one needs to go see this movie and it needs to be removed from circulation. Pure trash.

One of the worst i have evaaa seen

there has to be a bit of ignorance to make this movie and decide, ok we are going to sell it to cinemas. How did the Wayans think that this was not over the top, trashy, and just not funny. this movie was 117minutes too long. a waste of film. i have seen terrible steven segal movies that were way better than this. this made rush hour 3 look really funny now that i think about it

Better than "White Chicks"!!!!

What do you expect from a Wayans' Movie!?!?!?!?!?!? Alot of people complained that it wasn't scary! I just knew when I saw the trailer, it wasn't going to be scary!! It's supposed to be funny!! And, it was!! Loved it!! It stayed true to the parody. This movie is NOT for children, eventhough I was surrounded by them!!!! Go see it, you will not be disappointed!!

Not quite Scary Movie level

It is funny. But I admit that I expected more. There's a lot of sexual situations, so use your judgement as far as children are concerned.
