    Not for the kiddies

    by MinaM74

It was a typical Wayan brother joint...alittle over the top with the sex stuff especially with the stuffed animals. Got quite boring in the middle of the movie....time waster if you have nothing to do....I would suggest you watch this if your friend gets it from the Red Box.

    Too Funny!

Went to see it last night, and the theater was packed. I loved it! Not for children though (and I was surprised to see people bringing young children- one man even made his child sit on the floor in the aisle while he sat in the seat!)

Marlon Wayans is hilarious. The acting was great, well planned out. I would recommend this movie!

bit Funny but VERY OFFENSIVE and BORING at times..

    by Game2k

DO NOT BRING A DATE OR PREPARE RO FEEL EMBARRASED, THEY TOOK POOP JOKES AND AND SCENES WAY TOO FAR...

While the movie was kinda funny for the most part, I want to warn people that this is NOT a movie to bring ur kids. There are many sex scenes while only showing partial nudity, it is too strong for kids.

Also, There was WAY to many GAY scenes that it got to a point that some people were gwtting upset and were like "really"?. Too many uncesssary scenes in this movie and its too short as well, about an hour a some minutes long.

There was also a scene where she masturbates to a cross and many including me was very offended by it and did not find it funny at all...not to mention the priest having drugs in his so called bible. I also found the movie to be a bit rasist towards white and black people.

I REALY CANT RECOMMEND THIS FILM, AS IT IS OFFENSIVE AND NOT TOO FUNNY. DEFINATELY NOT WORTH THE $18 I PAID TO GO SEE IT...SKIP IT!

A Few Laughs Here But Most Of It Doesn't Work.

Film comedy is a tough gig. With everything staged and no live audience feedback, it's a gamble. Parts of this film work fine. In fact, there are a couple of scenes here that are downright hilarious. Trouble is that they are few and far between, and definitely not enough to carry a feature film. Spoofing another popular film was also a risk, in this case, one that didn't pay off. If you're fans of the talent here, you can probably justify a ticket just for an outing but don't expect much in the way of laughter and you won't be disappointed.

    a good laugh

    by

the movie was an entertaining movie to say the least. My brother and I have seen our fair share of movies and were cracking up for most of the film. There were a lot of times where it was just us laughing because we were the only one who got the jokes...there are a lot of references from other movies and pop culture that if you aren't familiar with your going to not find the humor. Over all a good laugh

    I peed myself

This movie is exactly as it's described. It's crude, it's raunchy, it's in extremely poor taste, and it's so hysterical, I actually hurt myself laughing. A public service announcement for women who are pregnant or who have had a baby - come strapped, like I did. I laughed so hard I peed a little, even with my legs crossed. Oh, and parents? USE YOUR BRAINS. This movie is NOT for anyone under 18.

IT WAS NOT A GOOD MOVIE AT ALL. IT'S NOT WORTH THE $8.00 TO GO SEE IT. IT HAD SOME FUNNY PARTS. THE ACTING WAS NOT GOOD. I WISH I COULD HAVE WAITED SEE IT FOR FREE.

    Not for anyone under 18!!

I agree with the previous reviews. I took my daughter and her friend to see this mess and they had to keep their eyes covered on many of the scenes. I expected some nudity and bad language and even a little sex scene but this movie had nothing but sex in it. Everybody and everything was having sex even the ghost! At one point I became offended by some of the sex scenes and I'm 42 and have seen it all. Should of had a no one under 17 permitted period with parent or otherwise. Don't waste your money!!!!!

    Wait for the DVD

My 21 year old daughter and I went to see this movie - it was a disappointment! There were some funny scenes but overall it was nothing but sexual vulgarity in my opinion. I'm not an uptight person and loved the movie White Chicks - but this movie just wasn't funny. I looked over at my daughter several times in the theater and she was barely smiling. Sorry - but I would wait for the DVD so that if you don't like it you can turn it off and not feel like you've wasted your time and too much money. Also, because the filming was suppose to be like amateur video the shaky screen made me dizzy and somewhat nauseous. This movie is definitely not for kids under 16 - and barely 16. There was a man and I think his maybe 12 year old grandson that walked out of the movie because it was so vulgar.

Could have been funny without all the cursing and sex

I love Living Color and the Wayans, and Cedric, but wow.... Non-stop either profanity just for the sake of... well I don't know what and everything revolved around sex from simulated sex with inanimate objects to sex with ghosts to crude stereotypical sexual exploits of gay folks, hispanic folks...

All I can say is..... it could have been funny without all that. There were children in our theatre. Had I been their parents I would have had to get them outta there when the first scene with the inanimate object sex appeared.

Overboard Sexual Content -- Not For Teens

Marlon Wayans carries the show with his typical, rib-aching parody. If you are a huge fan of the Wayans Brothers, you'll love the show; however, this movie is definitely not for kids or teenagers. Overboard nauseating sex-scenes and male butt shots, male gay nude scenes, and gang-bang (Mandingo) nude scenes. Even with your over 18 teens, as a parent, several scenes will make you want to crawl under your seat in embarrassment as the movie takes on an ambience of an on-screen porno. Cedric the Entertainer carried absolutely no weight in the film and whose presence was lost on the audience. His back-story made no sense and didn't contribute to the story or plot at all except to offend. Essence Atkins is very funny and works well with Wayans; however, her fake scary voices are best left in a Haunted House at Halloween. The movie was very funny as expected during the first half but lost its way and point towards the second half making you wonder when it will end. Rating should be XXX.

    old school Wayans

    by BM25

I'm 45 and I laughed so hard.. This was seriously hilarious and the whole theater was going wild laughing. It's a spoof movie not a critics choice so what the critics say is unimportant. If you want to laugh, go see A Haunted House!
