good movie

this movie is a muuuussst see. Marlon L. Wayans and cast outdid themselves.
This movie is not for kid's, it's Rated R and for a reason too.

If you like the Wayans, go see it!

This movie was written well and funny. I laughed the entire time! Mature humor, wouldnt recommend kids going to see this; though there was children in the audience. Must see!

A fun night at the movies with A Haunted House

We went and saw this movie on Friday night, and laughed so hard through out the movie. I was still laughing an hour after this one ended. Marlon Wayons is great, and the rest of the cast was great. Would definately recommend this for a good laugh and fun night at the movies. In the style of the first two Scary Movies, but for my money I enjoyed this more. Still raunchy at times, but even through that you are laughing the whole time. If you like this style comedy, this movie will not let you down.

R with X tendencies

I don't remember the rating of the movie, but it isn't for people under 17 using any standard. The F and N flying around made it distasteful. The actor's are funny. The Wayan's family are natural funny guys. But my biggest turn-off with a movie is watching through a personal camera. It put me off right away. I considered leaving, but since I paid I might as well watch the whole thing. Kept hoping for the movie to get better. I believe if I watched it at home on dvd, I would have liked it better. There was one time in the middle of the movie, the audience didn't know to laugh or what because of the inappropriateness of the movie as a whole.

Cedrickly Hilarious!!!!

Laughter from beginning to the ending! A must see. We needed great laughter in the theater. This movie brought laughter back!!! If there was space in the theater, i would have been on the floor; crying in tears.

It's a pretty funny movie!

I actually liked this movie, but I didn't laugh as often as I was expecting. There were moments in the movie where I knew was going to happen by just looking at the trailer and that (I think) give it away sometimes.
It's a fun movie to go with your friends and just have a good time laughing about it and sharing your favorite parts because there will be some.
It's a modern comedy movie where young audiences will like it even more with all the naked butts and crazy things that happens through out the movie.

Well, I guess this is it. This has been my first review on Fandango, so if you liked my review and think of going to see this movie because of comments similar to mine. BE MY GUEST.

Better than I expected

I love comedy movies specially parodies. Having seen paranormal activity i think they did a pretty decent job with this one. Definitely not better than Scary Movie but I liked the concept.

So angry that this wasn't better

I loved Scary Movie 1 & 2 and I was really hoping this would be like that. It might have had the same idea but it wasn't nearly as good. Its all sex and poop jokes, which I love but after 45 minutes of it, come on. I just wish it was more than 1 note. I wanted to love this movie but instead, I hated it. :(

Hilarious!! Marlon Wayans is a laugh riot

We saw it last night and we laughed throughout. It was great. Liked how the story of a couple moving in together and the fears of that were intermixed and with the parody of fears that come with movies like Paranormal, The Exorcist and Amityville.

Marlon Wayans and Essence Atkins play very well off each other. They made a sweet couple and also had great comic timing. I really cared about the couple besides laughing at the goings on of the 'ghost'.

The gags were greats. Cedric the Entertainer was particularly funny in his role as a nefarious priest come to release the demon.

Stupid, But Funny

There are a few scenes that were uproariously funny but for the most part the film was chuckle funny. Mostly my inner monologue was "Okay..." with a tolerant smile.

Better Than Other Spoofs

Okay, I still think the best spoof movie is Airplane, by far. But A Haunted House ranks up there pretty high. I don't think very highly of Scary Movie (all of em), Vampires Suck or other cheesy spoofs like that, but A Haunted House surprised me! It was surprisingly funny and I enjoyed it. Definitely do not bring anyone under 18 to this movie because of sexual content, drug use and f-bombs everywhere. But it's not just about crude humor, it's actually got a great plot to it. Excellent spoof of the Paranormal Activity series. Kept me laughing all the time.

Really funny but gay humor also

The movie is not fitted for kids at all and there were some in the one we went too. It is very funny but there was a nice chunk of gay humor that I didn't care for. It was not at all what I expected.

Best comedy movie of 2012-13

The movie is pure gold, if you are a fan of comedy movies or just wish to get some laughs then i recommend this movie. Its for every one but kids.

A Haunted House

Of course when I seen the trailer I had to go and see this movie. I took my 13 year old son and my 15 year old nephew along with me. Boy was I in for a surprise. One..there was 2 much sex in this movie that I was not aware of. I was truly pissed when this happened, due to my kids being there. I would NOT recommend taking your children to see this movie. A good friend of mine told me taking the kids would be ok, so I took their word for it. I am so disapponinted at how this movie turned out. Besides the sex seens the movie did have some funny parts. Glad I only spent $6 to see the movie. But DONT take your kids, I cant stress that enough.

Very Funny

This movie is very funny and although you might think it's ok to take your young children....DO NOT.. There are very suggestive scenes that display sexual activity. Also there is a topless scene.

It's very adult and that's why they have that big R as the rating......
