    The Collection

    by WILDSEA

There are many scenes which are so loud that a person with 95% hearing loss is able to hear. I like horror movies that make sense and this one is about a masked unknown killer without a motive that just loves killing. It has a good ending, but that is not the end of the movie. There is a PS: The executioner who committed the crimes and the man behind who gave the order.

    Good for Horror Fans

I understand the sensitivity of some by seeing this movie and it is indeed a rugged horror/action movie. There is plenty of gore if that is your thing. The story is decent and the characters fare pretty well in this sequel. I would recommend this movie to those who enjoy over the top gore and action with a bit of twisted moments while our hero fights his way through the maniacs hideout. Definitely not for the faint of heart!

    Loved It...

My wife and I just loved it. Loads of action and some very grizzly scenes. The only problem for us was it was just basically another "Saw" type movie, but then we liked those too. The movie moves at a good pace and is never dull. You could wait to rent or buy DVD..Really don't need to see it in a movie theater...Not for children under 16..

    I loved it!

If you liked the first one (The Collector) like I did then you will definately enjoy this movie. It is more gruesome than the last one, in my opinion, but kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I will definately be buying this when it comes out on Blu-ray.

Scary - But no real depth besides just a psycho going nuts.

    by

The movie was awesome as far as scary movies go. People where definitely screaming in the theater. All the acting was good (as far as scary movies go). There weren't any cheap one liners or anything to stupid. The shots and gore were all pretty legit, but it was a lot more about tense atmosphere than just blood and guts like the SAW films. There were a couple scenes that were in the movie just to scare you. The few times this happened it was obvious the director didn't use the scene to build any plot. He just wanted to kill someone and mess with the audience (still totally enjoyable, but could have tied it in more).

I'd see it again with someone else just to watch them squirm.

Definitely only for adults (little kids might be afraid to step outside or talk to strangers after this).

A bloody good time at the movies

I was a big fan of the first. You will notice that this one was cleaned up a bit, it lacked the grittiness that the first one had. It seemed as though the Director was told to lighten up the mood, if that's even imaginable in a movie like this. The lone survivor from the first one returns, just where he left off the last time, in the box. When he's forced to go back in to rescue a rich kid, he goes in with a bunch of guys who are supposedly hired guns but double as the worst actors you could find. With some elaborate traps and some brutal scenes, we are left with just two people trying to escape the collector. The first ten minutes sets the tone as we see the collector do what he does best in a crowded club. After that the action doesn't stop until the credits role. I'll have to admit I was a little thrown off by the ending, since I'm sure they are trying to set up for a third installment. A good change of pace considering the other movie choices out right now.

Ghoulishly Gruesome; Sick & Singly The Most Filthy, Cruel, Inhuman, Vile And Repulsive Trash Ever Committed Film.

I am utterly ashamed of myself for patronizing such an aberrant deviance from humanity and common morality. How, or more importantly why, ANY theatrical distributor or exhibitor could in clear conscience display such absolute degeneracy for money is simply unconscionable to me. The mere fact there is a presumed market for this sort of sick garbage makes my skin crawl. This film is but one small step above child pornography in terms of its social worth. Choose to see it and you too, provided you have even a modicum of human decency, will be ashamed of yourself. In a word, this piece of trash is depraved. There's nothing else to write about it except viewing this film is akin to experiencing a cinematic rape.
