    Fun

    Moody, well written and acted, good, if somewhat over the top ending, broke some clichés despite a couple of reviewers here. I mean, come on, it's del toro!

    MAMA!!

    I was jumping out of my seat through the whole movie!! I normally do not go see scary movies in the theater but my husband wanted to see it. It was good and a great story. The girls in the movie were great actors!!

    I liked the movie, but...

    I liked the movie, it was well done and Mama did keep me on the edge of my set, but the ending disappointed me. I won't say anymore, other then I just didn't like the ending at all.

    MAMA

    I really liked the movie. The little girls were excellent actresses. It was one of the best scary movies i've seen in a while. The action moved nicely, whereas most of these movies drags on and on until the last ten minutes of the movie. I'd definately recommend it.

    Mama = Scary!

    Went to see Mama last night. I love horror films!!! I would give this film 2 thumbs up! Mama gives you that creepy, omg! feeling that you're supposed to get when you watch a horror film!

    The ending was so cheesy that i was actually embarrased for the movie itself!

    The beginning started pretty good but it quickly turned into a silly, cheesy mess. What a way to ruin a potentially good movie. The ghost was such a silly, fake, almost cartoon like mess at the ending that you actually ache for the end of the movie to come. Very dissapointed.

    Good start very poor and

    predictable finish ... why did the younger daughter die at the end? Didn't get it and I love a good scare ... my girlfriend wanted her money back.

    Creepy Mama

    This is one of the scariest movies I've seen in a long time. It's not just jumpy, but it's truly scary and creepy. The best part is it has a satisfying ending.

    Not bad of a movie

    MAMA was a ok movie, really did not scare me but I do not scare too easily. I felt like at times there was not plot and the director was running out of ideas. The movie seemed to be at times to be just going no where. I am sure it will do well in the box office because people want to be scared but remember it it just a scary movie nothing else.

    If youre looking for a great scare, you must see this movie. It contains great CGI, then you will be happy to know that there is plenty of it.

    Mindless Fun

    My young teenage daughter and her boyfriend enjoyed this with my brother and myself. We had fun screaming and covering our eyes, then just as much fun laughing about the ridiculous plot twists and details of the movie. Great rainy day stress relief, truly scary visuals and suspense. Loved it.

    Terribly boring

    This was absolute garbage. Not scary at all and painfully boring to watch. Not a good movie choice for someone as talented as Jessica Chastain. The little girls in this movie are adorable. Yet it is not at all scary unless this is your 1st scary movie ever. Very disappointing.

    A must watch for any Del Toro fan or fan of horror

    I will admit i was skeptical on how much i would like this film when i walked in the theater.
    Fantastic acting from both the girls. And it has what most horror/suspense films lack and that is a great plot and backstory. Cinematography is wonderful for what i consider pretty low budget. I would recommend for young teens and adults mostly because of the content of the movie there isnt any blood and gore. Overall worth going to watch in the theaters.

    Superb!!

    I personally enjoyed the movie it kept you on the edge of your seat, made you self conscious of the movie surroundings, and had a surprising set of twists thrown in there that left you saying "Whattt????"
