An act of kindness

From the start the movie is the struggle of a marine vet dealing with the wounds of 3 years of War,flashbacks and tormentment of self quilt ,the scars of the battlefield never leave him as he now relives them at home Tuscon,Arizona .On a downward spiral of booze and memories of war that haunt him he now has a chance to make a difference when a young boy living next door looses his mother to a drug overdose.Gripping and touching the two need each other to save there lives.I loved this movie and the acting was superb!!!

Least Among Saints is compassionate and compelling

This is a beautiful, human film. Marty Papazian's performance is not to be missed. Across the board the performances hit every note. The story is beautifully constructed and carries us along at a solid pace. The music is perfect and it looks terrific. Go see this important film.

Hope & Redemption Triumph over Despair in Papazian's "Least Among Saints"

Least Among Saints addresses issues facing far too many of our nation's returning troops -- PTSD, TBI, alcohol and drug problems, and run-ins with the law.

Martin Papazian deserves triple crown for writing, directing and starring in this compelling drama about a Marine sergeant's struggle to find redemption. Excellent cast includes Laura San Giacomo, AJ Cook, Charles S. Dutton and Tristan Lake Leabu.

Least Among Saints has an important message, will provide a few laughs and may cause some tears to flow. It may also leave you with a deeper sense of hope, which is a good thing.

Highly recommended.

Least Among Saints

I attended the opening night showing of ?Least Among Saints? in San Diego. Shrouded in guilt and displaced anger, the main character, a war veteran, leads a troubled and aimless life; but through an unlikely friendship with an orphaned boy, a healing process begins. This movie moved me on multiple levels. I am by no means a war veteran and the closest I?ve come to combat action has been watching news coverage on TV. This film gave me a deeper understanding and a clear portrayal of what our war veterans actually endure when they return home and are forced to deal with the mental scars suffered from doing their job. Set in suburban America, The film had a very realistic story line that any watcher could identify with. The acting was phenomenally true to form and the film had many powerfully symbolic images and scenes. Without a doubt, this film deserves my full mark of approval and recommendation. It is a work of art that is both moving and entertaining

Sometimes the battle doesn't end

No one knows the pain that overtakes the heart and mind of a man forced to witness the horrors of combat. One?s self is lost in a world they no longer recognize and no longer understand. There have been great movies throughout the last twenty years that accurately demonstrate the essence of war, in all its death and evil, such as ?Saving Private Ryan? and ?We Were Soldiers?; however, no movie has ever attempt to touch on the aftermath that takes place in the mind. ?Born on the Fourth of July? gave us a glimpse of the pain and suffering in the lives of those wounded in battle, but what about those that show no evidence of injury on the outside? What about the millions that wake up screaming or cannot get the images of death and mutilation out of their minds? ?Least Among Saints? takes this issue head on, it allows us all to see that the injuries of war go deeper than just flesh and blood; they become a part of us. The realities of war do not just end at the edge of the battlefield

Powerful emotional story of a veteran who finds a larger purpose in life

Least Among Saints is a powerful emotionally moving story about a veteran dealing with the trauma of war and finding a purpose to go on and in the process finds healing. The acting is excellent. The directing is dead on and the cinematography serves the movie well. I highly recommend this movie

A very good movie. It really had a good message & I had a lot of compassion for the characters in the movie. Very believable story. More people should see movies like this to understand what our soldiers go through. The writing was a bit jumpy but the message came across.

Review of Least Among Saints

This movie was really good something i would see over and over again. I have a lot of respect for the people that are in the military and to see kind of a perspective of what they go through helps people realize and might help those people. It was a touching movie and it well written. I didn't think i was really going to be into it because it wasn't like an action movie but after the beginning i got really into it and i loved it. it caught my attention right away. All around an amazing movie to me

I highly recommend seeing Least Among Saints!

This is a beautiful story of raw suffering. It is the balance of responding to an opening when not much in your past has any relationship to it. It is mustering your courage to walk with the new and unknown. Instead of ringing his neck, he got a slam upside his head that grabbed his heart. He moved slowly, not always correctly, into the path of his courage ? and stumbled on some healing.

Least among saints

This movie exceeded all of my expectations. Where most movies delve past real life and into fiction, this movie has an emotional impact that is very real. The acting is superb and I for one found it difficult to maintain a dry eye. I went with a friend who was recently brought home from Afghanistan and he could relate wholeheartedly to the emotion and mental fight that Martin Papazian's character portrayed. A must see for everyone!!!

It is a wonderful tale that?s captivating & beautifully told. A heartwarming journey of a war vet & a young boy that is heartbreaking & their bond & friendship helps them find light & hope again in their lives. It?s beautifully told & expect excellent performances, an absolute must see!!

SEE THIS MOVIE!

This movie is a must see. It is intelectual, emotional and informative. It is rare to find a movie that pulls at your heart strings while remaining truthful, but Least Among Saints accomplishes it. Marty Papazian accomplishes the daunting tasks of writing, directing and acting with immense grace, and Tristan Lake Leabu exhibits talent that actors twice his age can only dream of.
