Truly the best children movie during the Christmas season.

    by

I saw the movie originally and I loved it. Now that I have seen it on 3D, I love it even more. The effects are awesome, it really feels like its going to pop out of the screen. I specially love Sully, it looks even more realistic as I can see how his fur has change. Anyone who love the original version will love this one even more.

Mike & Sully are funny together...

    by

Monsters Inc. is definitely a cute & unique story. I like this movie. It was interesting to see this film in 3D. Looking forward to seeing what Mike & Sully are like at Monsters U.

    Same 'Ol

    by DaViggi

Monsters Inc. was a great movie....
but making it 3D is just like seeing the same movie over again...there was nothing special about it being 3D...

    Awesome

    by pineyjr

I've seen many times, but took my 6 yr old to see for the first time and she loved it. I've really enjoyed re-watching older movies in the new 3D option!!!

    Monsters Inc. revisited in 3D

    by Kimchi1

We went to see this yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it with our 4 year old grandson. He likes "spooky" things so the monsters yelling didn't startle him but this might not work for children who have a fear of that type of thing. The 3D added to the experience as the characters seemed to be right in front of us. This movie does not have a lot of "special effects" that you would normally see in a 3D film but it was worth seeing especially if your little one was too young for the first release. I think it's best for kids age 4 and up as long as they can handle "scary" looking characters that yell and they have an understanding that the monsters aren't real.

    Monsters,Inc 3D

We simply LOVED the movie enough to see it in 3D. (We have the movie at home.)
The only thing that I could complain about was the fact that it didn't appear to be true 3D. But it wasn't made in 3D!
Nothing popped out, it was just Monsters with sunglasses to me. But the kids didn't notice..that's all that mattered.

Old movie but a good one!

Same old movie but in 3D it was fun. If you've seen it a few times (like I had) I probaly would have rather gone to something new....but my 10 yr old won her choice. :)

    Great Movie!

    by

We took our girls (6 and 3) yesterday. I had forgotten how much I loved this movie, and the 3D was nice but not sure I would have paid the extra money if seeing it 2D would have been an option. The 6 year old had to be convinced to stay at times (scares easliy) but we could not have pulled the 3 year old away! Come to think of it, she reminds me a lot of Boo....

    Always a Good Disney Movie

I took my 3 1/2 yr to see this because she watches the dvd of it all the time.l Although wearing the 3D glasses hurt her a little bit, she still made it through the entire movie & was not scared. I thought the amount of detail that you could see in 3D was awesome. If you like the movie, great to see in 3D.

    Monsters

    by schmotz

This movie is awesome regardless and we have seen it millions of times. Decided to take the kids on holiday break to see it in 3 D. The 3D was not that impressive. Nothing really different so it was not worth the extra bucks. Fun movie though.

    Kids loved it!

9 year old had seen it and really loved the jokes and outtakes at the end.
4 year old thought it was going to be scary, but really likes the 3D effect and had fun.

Still just as funny despite repeated viewings!

Took the kids this weekend (there are NO new kids movies out- what the heck??). They complained before we got there because they had seen this movie so many times before, but as soon as the previews started, they were hooked. My 9yo, who had complained the loudest, just howled with laughter. Although the 3-D was fine, I'm not sure it added that much aside from the big chase scene on the doors. This is one of my favorite Pixar movies- funny for both kids and adults, but without the annoying and quickly outdated cultural reference humor so many lesser films seem to rely on. Definitely a classic. "Twins! In a bunk bed!!" Ha!! NEVER not funny. Enjoy! (And be sure to stay for the credits or you'll miss the HYSTERICAL fake outtakes!)

A great 3D re release a must go

I walked into Monsters inc 3D in the most crappiest theatre possible, but thats ok in this case because I got free popcorn. 3D review has great depth in the movie, which made almost jump into the screen, and the effects are ok as well. As I watched I said maybe this is worth the $34 it cost to see the movie for 3 people. Bottom Line: Bring the family to a cheap screening of the movie and you won't be disappointed
