Thought it was great and looks like must be going on today in businesses and depending how the election turns out, it could be an indicator of what's in store the next 4 years.

Love the story, better production values than Part 1, cant wait for Part 3...

I love the book, so I pretty much knew going in that I would love the story line. I was concerned about the fact that the actors/actresses playing the characters were changing from Part1, but you are over that very quickly as you fall right back in with the new characters. I really cant remember who played them in the first movie now.

You can tell the overall level of the acting, as well as the production values, camera work, etc have all improved from Part 1 as the budget increased as well.

If you are a "producer" or a "looter" who would like to become a "producer" go see it and get the flame burning...

Amazing!

I enjoyed part 1, but part 2 is even better. The casting changes were a good idea. The actors who portray Dagney Taggert and Hank Rearden are superb. You'll want to stand up and cheer when Hank Rearden gives his speech to the judges about the Fair Tax. The movie opens with a very exciting scene and ends with a cliff hanger. I wouldn't be able to stand the suspense if I had not already read the novel two times. The movie provides a realistic glimpse into the future of our country if Obama and his big government agenda are re-elected. My husband and I were both very pleased with part 2 and recommend that all Ayn Rand fans go see it!

Atlas Shruggled pt 2

The movie is well worth it. The showing I attended only have 4 people (Wednesday afternoon at 4 PM. I suggested you watch the first part that is available on video before going. If you have not read the book do so.

Excellent even with new cast of Actors

My husband I thought the movie was excellent. We were a bit concerned when we learned the roles had been recast but the new actors were terrific. And the movie so good. Now we are anxious for the Atlas Shrugged Part III

This movie depicts an elite at the top of the wealth/power pyramid controlling the political system and government in a fascist covert scheme to control and strip the economic and civil liberty of the people from the people thus securing the elite's place at the top of the pyramid.

Atlas Shrugged Part II

At first I was upset with all new actors. However, after getting to know the new actors, some of them did a better job playing their characters than the previous movie. I really miss Dagny though. I really enjoyed the story and can only say if you are a Ayn Rand fan, then you NEED to see this. I am going to see part 2 again this weekend and cannot wait for the third installment.

Atlas Shrugged Part 2

Fast paced. Great flying scenes. Covered the bases in part 2 of the book; however, it did seem to run from one action point to another. Not enough character building for my taste. Not enough of history with Fransico and no sight of Ragnar, the pirate. I preferred the first Dagny but until they merge all three together for a big DVD it does not really matter. While it is not perfect, I still say go see it.

Can't wait for part III

When I heard part II was on its way, I was both surprised and highly interested. Due to all the bad press the first installment received, I never thought another would get funding. Having read the book twice, I was really into the story. Especially how much it dovetails into what is presently happening in politics.

I was not disappointed. All the characters have been recast and I thought they did well. The cast was more recognizable having seen many on TV and in movies. I am wondering if they agreed to the part due to their personal views and acceptance of Ayn Rand's principles. Some of the technical visuals were not up to par with high budget films, but the point was delivered for me. The film also followed the book.

You will not be disappointed.

Screen Play Shrugged?

We understand the idea and have read the book, however the screen play is awful and a couple of the main "actors" were just bad actors.

the script is just gawwwd awwwwful.

Excellent movie, I am now waiting for the DVD to become available. A pity the movie is not being shown at more local theaters. It needs to reach a wider audience.

Atlas Shrugged is so relevant to our current state of government

Loved seeing Part II and can't wait for Part III. I'm not sure why it was necessary to change all of the actors from Part I, but will definitely see Part III when available. We are not a bottomless moneypit for our dear leaders. If you didn't see Part I it will still bring you up to speed.

2nd installment a much stronger film, message as strong as ever.

I had hoped Atlas Shrugged 2 would be a more polished product than the first film and I wasn't disappointed. The acting and production are much improved. Personally, I found Dagny's character much more in line with the book in the second installment. Reardon was strong also. The theater was 80% filled for an afternoon matinee, a great sign. The people in the theater were energized at it's conclusion, many chatting with others afterward.
