Need to Feel Hope? Watch this Movie

My husband and I went to see this movie yesterday and honestly I didn't know what to expect. I knew it probably had a Christian message and let's face it --most "Christian" movies are substandard and subpar. There was nothing subpar about this movie. It was perfectly cast. Also, the movie was not preachy at all. There was a message of hope but it would inspire both Christians and non-Christians alike. This was Michael Ealy's best performance to date. This movie truly made me want to get out of my easy middle class lifestyle to go out and make a difference in communities less fortunate. Truly inspiring!

    Definitely worth seeing!!!!

    by hpzumba

Excellent movie! It should be in more theaters! It is nice to finally see a good drama without the cussing and swearing, yet the point gets across. I would see it again!

    Unconditional

    by

This is a truly powerful and inspiring movie. I serve children growing up in inner city neighborhoods daily as the the CEO of Youth Life Learning Centers. Unconditional is a powerful reminder that the work we do is invaluable and the problems our inner city kids face are immeasurable. My hope is that this movie will move those already working with youth to greater diligence and bring new hearts and minds to join us in our efforts. The movie demonstrates that when we bring love to others, we unconsciously give them permission to do the same and, in the process, give rise to the very best in ourselves.

    Awesome Movie

This movie has a powerful message based on the realities of life; the acting is superb. This movie is not suited for children.

    simply a beautiful story

    by ekaluna

Its surprising that this movie is in only 2 theatres in manhattan, but I'm glad I saw it. Its a beautiful story and great acting. I brought my 2 sons (ages 7 and 11) even though it is PG-13 and they also enjoyed this moving. Very inspiring!

    Unconditionally a Fantastic Movie

    by

This is such an inspiring film. Everyone with children grades 5th and above should take their children and friends to see it. It re-enforces how God's love surpasses anything we can be going through in life. You will leave the theater with an uplifted spirit and peace knowing that God is always with you.

    A Refreshing Change

I went to see this last night at the suggestion of a friend. I'm not usually one for smaller, independent films, but this one was a definite crowd pleaser. You could tell the movie did not have a huge budget so instead they had to rely on a mature, well written story with very good acting.....something that doesn't seem so easy to find at theaters anymore. The story itself was extremely moving. You could hear everyone in the theater laughing or sobbing at all the right parts, including myself.. There are times when all of the emotional scenes seem a bit too much but this is kind of overcome by the fact that the story is based on a real life person. This is one of the more artistically creative films I have seen in a long time too. Whoever thought up the flow and transitions for introducing the story, especially in the very beginning, did a very good job. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a satisfying trip to the theater anytime soon!

    Needs More Pubilicity

I found the theme, actors and plot to be so natural and superbly rated. I was surprised that not many people were there. It's obvious that lack of publicity is not good for the ratings. I tried to express my pleasure for this movie on FB and I could not share on my timeline. This true life expression of friends and good people helping each other is shadowed by violence and action movies!

    Unconditional

    by herdof8

This is a movie that is both entertaining and provides the viewer with something worthwhile to consider after the movie has ended. The plot takes a number of unexpected turns and hits at the heart of our tendency to focus on our griefs and trials which leads many times to a thirst for revenge at worst and a rush to judgment at best. The acting was very good and the actors certainly fit their parts. Absolutely recommend this as a worthwhile movie.
