    FLIGHT

Denzel deserves the oscar for this performance. His portrayl of a drunk pilot was so believable, it was scary. If you only see 1 movie this year, this is it!

    Denzel is awesome

    by lavette

Another great movie starred by Denzel Washington. Once again Denzel portrays a hero character but this time he is plagued with addictions. I would not recommend this movie for children, as there are adult situations being dealt with. This is an awesome movie that makes you think, laugh and cry. You will root for Denzel and be disappointed by some of his decisions. In the end he comes full circle and is truly the hero we all expect him to be.

    Outstanding Acting and Dialogue!

The words spoken in this script jump off the screen and slap you in the face! A lot of scriptual messages that were lost because of the laughter of the spiritually immature and emotionally disengaged. Nevertheless, this will be a movie that I will see again and again. Loved it!

    Excellent Denzel movie!

    by SQ44

As always, Denzel is a terrific actor. The story interestingly develops, as does his character. If you are a Denzel W. fan, you will definitely love this well-made movie.

    The Flight

Flight is far from up lifting but the acting is superb. It is definitely not for children. Very well done but don't expect to leave feeling happy!

    Lots to like about Flight

    by

Few actors completely embody a role quite like Denzel Washington and Robert Zemeckis weaves the story to a fascinating yet predictable conclusion. You can depend on Washington being able to pull you in and as always you become totally invested in his character. You simultaneously pull for him and hope for his success despite his incredible flaws.

There may have been a little too much backstory in the Kelly Reilly (Nicole) role that doesn't move the story along. We can completely grasp the fact that she is 'damaged' without all of the details of that damage. The story could have been enhanced better with more details and story of the the plane, the accident, and the subsequent investigation, but seemed as though the Directors decision was to concentrate on Washington's turmoil and fight with his own demons.

Don Cheadle was great in his fairly small role, but he is the kind of actor that can stand out in a seemingly second tier part.

    Flight

Great movie! But then, anything with Denzil Washington is great! As usual, he does an outstanding job. This movie will be nominated with several awards including director and would not be surprised to see Washington once again be nominated for an acadamy award - and win!!

    Awesome!

One of the best movies I have seen in a long time. The casting was perfect and Denzel is the best. Hell, I'd fly even if he WAS the captain!

Real good if you like drama, depth of plot, and a long running time "bang for your buck"...

I thought for its running time of 2 hours and 20 minutes, it flowed good and kept my interest. The main action of the plane crash is in about the first third of its running time, then the plot builds from there. The last 25% of the running time builds to Denzel (Whip Whittaker) having to go before the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), and with some twists in the storyline, the ending sequence is rather frank and honest on the part of Whip Whittaker (Denzel Washington). The language is somewhat harsh throughout, and some of the storyline gets a little seedy in spots. For a drama movie, it's a "go see" to me...

    AMAZING

Truly one of the best movies that I have ever seen. The acting was superb, the flight scene was so real that I found myself holding my breath. Honestly it is amazing. The one caveat that I have is that the movie is truly NOTHING like the preview. It is not a comedy or an action film. It is a story about an alcoholic finally recovering and has deep, mature topics. SO GOOD.

    Powerful

    by

If you are a great action movie fan, well it ain't much of action here, a lot of drama though. A man struggling with his demons too self-absorbed to see his own path of destruction. So selfish to see the danger and pain caused to others even the loved ones. Redemption, salvation, what he is looking for? Maybe he is looking for himself. Must see.

    Flight

a must see movie. You expect to go see your ordinary crash and burn airplane movie and end up getting your socks knocked off. It hit especially at home. Would definitely see it again when DVD comes out. Fabulous. Denzel is superb.

    entertainment at its best

    by

While the film was not what I expected, its more about the pilot's problem with drugs and alcohol, as well as personal integrity than the crash, it was 2 hours of sheer entertainment.
