    Flight

    I think this was a very powerful movie about addiction and the impact in can have on multiple lives. In addtion it brilliantly protrayed how difficult it is to acknowledge and overcome addiction. I loved the super cast and I especially loved Denzel's ability to wrench my heart out with his dynamick performance.

    Trailer Misleading

    This movie started at 4:30 I left at 7:00 pm it went on and on. The relationships have nothing to do with the movie they are just there. This movie could have been cut down to a 30 minute short.

    Acting: WONDERFUL ... storyline: oh please!!

    The acting in this movie was WONDERFUL. You fully beleive the cast and become part of the their lives. The story line made many of the people in the theater shout at the screen "REALLY?!? That ending would NEVER happen in this hood." Other than the crash scene, the rest of the movie is not really active. We follow a drunk and drugged man through life until he admits he has a problem. Not a deep movie but as I said the acting was VERY beleivable.

    It was worth seeing. I'm sure some of these actors will be up for awards.

    I didn't know the content I just knew I like Denzel. I liked
    it. Denzel did a great job. There is action, some romance,
    and a happy ending.

    A true dose of reality. Great acting as usual by Denzel. Being such a Denzel fan it was hard to watch him drink himself into a stupor and to snort the white powder.

    Movie OK, Zemeckis and his people Assholes--

    I had to leave a little early with a teacher who had to get up early the next day to teach. Tried to say hello and meet Zemeckis on the way out but was stopped by theater personnel and security like Zemeckis was Madonna in the '80's.

    Great movie Danzel was great as usual, great plot. Kept your eyes glued to the screen, John Goodman was fantastic in limited role. Must see movie.

    I like most of Denzel Washington movies but this one was ok just go see it for yourself. He was very good actor in this movie.

    Great Movie

    Never saw a movie Denzel wasn't good in. I think their was a scene that was pretty far-fetched, but not being a pilot, I'll leave it at that. The rest of the movie -- the plot, was awesome. Highly recommend seeing this one.

    Hope This is the First of Many Washington/Zemeckis Projects

    What happens when you take an actor of Denzel Washington's ability to transform himself into his character so honestly and convincingly and you take a director such as Robert Zemeckis who is arguably the best at accuracy and continuity? You get an incredible film such as Flight. True to a Robert Zemeckis film, the events and flow of the film are about 95% accurate, and Denzel drags you right along with him into Captain Whip Whittaker's downward spiral. I enjoyed every last minute of this film, and I must say this was probably one of Denzel's best performances since Training Day. Go see this film, you won't be disappointed!

    Loved It!

    Denzel is one of my favorite actors so this review may be a little biased. I loved the movie. His acting, as usual, was off the charts. Will probably rent it again when it comes out. I do not think you will be disappointed.

    Flight

    Flight is a must see movie. Very true to many aviators in this role in flight operations. This movie displays a good portrait of many International carrier airline pilots and a way of life. I my self have been their and lived this life and many of the scenes brought back memories of earlier years. Some of us are lucky to out grow this behavior and some never depart from it. Great ending and Denzel does a outstanding job in this movie.
    The movie is not for younger children but I did bring my teens to see it and although reveling in some scenes they enjoyed the story line and the moral of the movie. They enjoyed the movie also.

    Denzel and Zemeckis are great together

    The acting was great and the direction, cinematography, and writing was right on spot.
    This is a must see for that alone.
    The story is deeply moving.
    This is not a new theme but nevertheless, the story of a good man struggling with his demons was presented in a new and unique way.
    This is definitely not a movie for children.
    Some impressionable adolescents may miss the point and be more impressed by the character played by John Goodman, who actually was great in this role, as he is in all of his roles.
    Good Movie.
