I WANT TO FORM MY OWN GROUP NOW!

This movie was so entertaining. It was predictable, but you're so busy laughing, singing, and dancing that you don't have time to notice. GO SEE IT NOW.

Pitch Perfect - funny all the way through

Loved every minute - from Elizaeth Banks' spot on announcer to Fat Amy's command of the screen - we laughed the whole way through. Highly recommend this movie if you want to just let loose and laugh

    made me laugh so hard!

    by

So before seeing this I was hesitant. Thought it was just going to be another thing just like "Glee" which I don't like. Then not long ago "Joyful Noise" was out. So it took awhile to decide to see this. So I saw this and it had me laughing from the beginning when she saw him singing in the car. But what really made this film for me was "Fat Amy". Oh I can't believe how hard I was laughing everytime she spoke. It is kind of like a Glee thing but then it's not at the same time. I like how the setting wasn't in high school. Getting sick of those high school films and tv shows. The cast they picked for this was great. So, overall, totally go see this. Oh it made me laugh. And good singing too.

    GREAT MOVIE!

Took my teenage daughter and her friend to see this movie. We all loved it! I enjoyed the blast from the past music- and they enjoyed those same songs put into todays "beat". We really enjoyed the movie- it was funny and Fat Amy is hysterical. The leason learned??? Be comfortable with who you are... everyone is different... its a good thing to embrace being YOU!

    AccaAwesome!

    by

If you loved movies like Bring It On and you love Glee - you will love this movie! It's got the rivalry - the bad girl who just wants a way out and the guy who wants the girl who tries everything to push him away. It's got the people who long for a chance and eventually get it and it has people who seem to not belong, but eventually find their place. The comedic timing is on point. It's a must see and a must own in my book!

    Worth a Listen

I loved the music in this movie. I took my 13 year old daughter to see it and found myself laughing at some jokes she didn't get. Although the girls in the movie poster look skanky, they aren't like that in the movie. The singing and performance made both of us want to find a similar competition in this area and go!

    A lively caricature

    by JLeslie

I enjoyed this frivolous ditty for its panache and the light caricature of musical competition. The point of this work is that music and singing are best when done in concert, competitions in this venue should end with everyone winning and no losers. The lip sinking was good but live singing will always be better.

    woo woo must go

Caveat: this from 14 y/o niece.
Singers were amazing, except for the weirdos, and the music was great, except for the boring performance of The Bellas in the beginning. Best character: Fat Amy. Epic!

    ACA-AMAZING!!!!

    by

Truly a "MUST GO!" Although parts were predictable, it didn't do anything to the fact that the whole theater, including myself were busting up every few minutes!!!! Which, for me is a rareity. Also people saying that you'll only like it if you like "Glee" are wrong. My best friend despises, absolutely hates Glee but she enjoyed the movie just as much, maybe more than me! Give it a chance... I'm sure you wont be dissapointed! XD Definitely going to go see it again, and buy it once on DVD! :)

    Kept me in stitches....

I have not been able to say this about a movie in a very long time. The story line was not predictable, the jokes were clever.

    Wasn't Brilliant, but funny

    by CBCGirl

The movie was ok. If you are looking for a light-hearted movie with only a slight plot to it with a lot of 1 liners this movie is for you. The singing it the movie was really good, all very talented. It was a nice way to relax and spend a couple hours.

One of the BEST MOVIES THIS YEAR!!!

The movie was AWESOME!! If you like "musical" movies like I do, then you will love this movie. Everyone who gets queasy at the sight of vomit, then be warned. There are a couple instances when one of the actresses throws up on stage, and again in practice. Otherwise, the movie was wonderful!! I really really enjoyed it!

    Love it!

What a great movie! There's no foul language, no real sexual material that would make it inappropriate for pre-teens, and great music! I'm biased, because...had there BEEN acapella groups like this when I was in school, I SOOO would have been there, but even friends that were not into singing love it. Go!
