    "pitch perfect" is right on key!

    oh no, bad puns! this movie may use a few of them, but the performances are great! as a fan of skylar astin's since he was on broadway in "spring awakening," it was great to see him in another role.

    even though there should have been a bit more of a storyline between astin's jesse and anna kendrick's beca, the movie was still a good time that had me humming the songs and immediately downloading them on iTunes when i got home.

    rebel wilson is hilarious as "fat amy," but as an asian-american, i felt like some of the relationship between beca and her "weird" korean roommate was overdone...plus the odd asian girl in the bellas too.

    Worth a Listen

    I loved the music in this movie. I took my 13 year old daughter to see it and found myself laughing at some jokes she didn't get. Although the girls in the movie poster look skanky, they aren't like that in the movie. The singing and performance made both of us want to find a similar competition in this area and go!

    Love it!

    What a great movie! There's no foul language, no real sexual material that would make it inappropriate for pre-teens, and great music! I'm biased, because...had there BEEN acapella groups like this when I was in school, I SOOO would have been there, but even friends that were not into singing love it. Go!

    HI-LA-RI-YOUS!!!

    part Glee + part SNL skits, this movie packs a lot of comedy. I saw this with my husband and it was a funny, feel good movie.

    Pitch Perfect

    This movie is wonderful. Upbeat, energetic, and inspiring. Kids today are very influenced in the genre that I grew up in and its wonderful to see that they love our music. Classic rock is a way of life!

    Went to see it with my wife and daughter. They loved it. Kind of reminded me of Glee and Sing Off --- women probably dig this movie more than guys.

    Great talent, fantastic music

    While the theme of ""the underdog kids find success to everyone's surprise" is not new, the style of this movie is unique. The a capella music is outstanding and the cast is perfect. Rebel Wilson will keep you smiling. The harmonies are amazing. Altogether well-done feel-good movie. If you sing or ever wanted to, this movie is for you.

    Worth the to,e!

    Kind of predictable - but hilarious just the same!!! Well worth the time to see - the music/singing is excellent.
    The humor may be a little too 'old' for pre-teens, though they're sure to enjoy the singing!

    The comedy of Mean Girls fused with the music of Glee

    Overall, this movie was fantastic: fast-paced, hilarious, not too shallow, and musically captivating. The entire theater was roaring with laughter constantly (Fat Amy is HILARIOUS) and it still had a gripping, moving plot that tied it together.

    different but the same

    Different in a sense that it's a cool topic to choose. Same in the formula was very much like Bring it on!

    I enjoyed the fact that they balanced story with enough singing/competition. Character building was decent. All in all I enjoyed it very much.

    If you like performance art; singing, dancing, competing, you will enjoy this movie.

    pitch perfect

    this movie was pretty good :) they had some really great music, and singing, with some really hot girls on the side. although the story definatly could have been better... i only spent 5 bucks to see it during the day, so i still recomend it...

    Wasn't Brilliant, but funny

    The movie was ok. If you are looking for a light-hearted movie with only a slight plot to it with a lot of 1 liners this movie is for you. The singing it the movie was really good, all very talented. It was a nice way to relax and spend a couple hours.

    Pitch Perfect

    This is one of the funniest and best movies I have seen in years. It was very entertaining- and didnt have to resort to ranchy sex or any blood guts and gore to make it a fun - entertaining movie. The singing and dancing was great- the love interest was real. I hope to be able to go see it again. It's not just another "Chick Flick" so guys, go with your girlfriends and wifes if you want to have a good laugh. You will definately come out of the movie in a great mood. I took my grand-daughter and her girlfriend- granddaughter was in a bad mood when we went into the movie. Afer the first laugh-which didnt take long to come- she got out of her bad mood and by the end of the movie, she was in love with the lead guy - Jesse!

    Fat is Beautiful

    Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) was the show stealer - with a set of pipes that really belt - but it is her one liners that constantly steal the show. You'll have to see it a second time in order to hear what you missed because you were laughing so hard. There were several moments throughout the showing where the audience was clapping, I'm guilty as well.

    Although the plot is predictable, it is stronger than any Glee show you may have seen and very entertaining. If you don't know what a mashup is, do your homework before hand, because it is fun to find out which songs that use in one.

    Even the character that plays Lilly, although you can't hear her, her character develops throughout the movie, not going to give away anything here, but it's fun to watch.
