Such an unexpectedly wonderful movie
When it was first suggested by one of our group of 20 that we go see a movie about a man who lived his life in an iron lung who is a guilt ridden Catholic who sees a sex therapist, I thought it was a joke. As other members of our movie group chimed in that they had heard it was a great movie, and I realized that I would be going to see this movie with the others, I started planning a way to discreetly walk out and sneak into another movie.
But I stayed put, enthralled, for the whole movie (and even though the credits cause I didn't want it to be over, its one of those), From the opening scene (funny and interesting) until the very end, I loved this movie. We all did. It is hard to explain why. But we left feeling really good about life and I woke up thinking about things I should think about more often. Like gratitude.
