    Hilarious!!

Absolutely hilarious movie. My wife and I have been looking forward to seeing this movie since the first time we saw the previews. It absolutely lived up to our expectations and then some!! We also liked the (mostly) realistic ending that made the movie more believable.

    VERY FUNNY !

    by

Great date movie!! me & my fiance' went to see for Valentines Day & he was a bit hesitant because he thought Jason Bateman may be dry & the movie might me corny..butttttttt.... HE LOVED IT & its a comedy / min drama/ message kind of a movie. Had some sorta sad, downer moments, but right when you wanna grab that tissue, Mrs. McCarthy in true form brings you to tears of LAUGHTER !! this is the FUNNIEST i have ever seen Jason Bateman, & it was quiet refreshing! I know the "society of CRITICS" do not like it, but HELLO, when they usually "RAVE" about a movie most folks usually HATE IT ! lol, i think secretly they get paid to hype a movie up ! lol, guess the creators of Identity Theft did not get that memo & said screw em & their uptight, have no sense of humor behinds ! :) I say go see it & you will definitely get many laughs & enjoyment ! & WHO DOESNT WANNA FEEL JOYFUL ??? :)

    Was NOT a let down.

I typically love all Jason Bateman movies because he?s hilarious. The movie was funny and delivers laughs. Although I wouldn?t have died if I missed this in theaters, I?m still very happy I went.

    Identity Thief

I laughed till I cried, Very good chemistry between Bateman and McCarthy and the rest of the cast. SOOOOOO funny would recommend this movie to all my friends and family. Wish Amanda Peet was in the action she is really funny as well. Didn't even recognize that was Eric Stonestreet from Modern Family that was funny and Melissa McCarthy's husband as the hotel clerk their timing was awesome

    Awful!

My husband fell asleep 3 times during the movie. I was excited to see the movie as the previews looked hilarious. When the movie was getting started it seemed really slow, but i assumed after it got going it would grab my attention. I was wrong, the whole movie was just blah. A few funny moments, but all together the movie was a waste of a moive ticket. Disappointed, wait till it comes out to Redbox, and even then I think $1.00 is too much to pay for that movie.

    Was not disappointed

Love Melissa and Jason! The whole audience was laughing along with this movie. I do admit that it dragged just a bit in a couple of places but, all in all, well worth the trip and money. Be advised that there are a couple of areas unsuitable for the very staunch or young persons, also.

    Identity Theft

Thought this movie was absolutely hilarious. A must see --- for ADULTS.

We went on a Saturday afternoon to see the movie. It is "R" rated. I was extremely disappointed seeing about ten (10) children at the theater and felt very uncomfortable when some scenes were showing. I guess these parents are the ones who wonder why their children get into trouble. Shame on them. I think that the movie theaters should not allow anyone in an "R" rated movie under the age of 17, even if they are accompanied by an adult.

    :(

    Cute Take on Real Problem

    by KDM04

I thought the movie was pretty amusing and I got some good laughs out of it. They took a major issue and made it a bit lighter and funnier. And the ending was very neat. I think it's worth the price of a ticket to see.

    Hilarious!

    by

I went by myself, and normally when I do that, films seem toNOT be as funny. However, I found myself wheezing and snorting! Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman have great comedic chemistry and though you can predict the direction the movie takes, it still gets you. One of a few I would actually go see again instead of waiting for the video release.

Horrible - LEFT 50 painful mins in.

    by mwells

Had high hopes this would turn out like the movie "The Change Up" with Jason Bateman, unfortunately I was greatly disappointed. My husband and I got up and left 50 mins into the movie and we both agreed it felt like we had been there for 2 hours already.

Not falll-out-of-your-chair hilarious, but consistently humorous!

    by

Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy really make the movie. The plot was a bit lengthy, but the humor was spread throughout and kept your interest without issue. There was one scene where they tried a bit too hard for a laugh, but the movie overall is definitely worthy of paying to see at a theater.

Cute but too foul for me

I expected a better movie than this. I love the actors - and the plot was clever. But the road trip from Florida to Colorado was too foul for me with the language, sex, and violence. Although there was a good story about friendship that emerged, it was difficult to see through the tiresome and foulness of the movie.

    Identity Thief

It is a funny movie from begining to end, it has its sad moments but other wise it is a must go see movie. It also shows how real people steal your identity.

    Humor at it's best

Maybe it's my sense of humor, but I thought this was hilarious. Thought Jason and Melissa were awesome together, and it reminded you how easy it is to lose your identity!
