    IDENTITY THIEF

    This movie was absolutely hilarious! I didn't realize how funny it was going to be from beginning to end until I got into the movie. People were rolling in the aisles laughing so hard. I'm really not sure why people criticize a comedy like it is a serious drama. It's a reason to get out of the house and forget your problems and laugh at other people's problems. It's that simple. So everyone just ease up and relax.

    Highly entertaining

    My 16 year old son and I didn't stop laughing. Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman managed to inspire empathy with both their predicaments, and keep us surprised and rolling with laughter at their antics. This modern take on grifting was a look at a complete lack of morals and an unusual way of life - almost glamorizing it - so was glad to see the "predictable ending." One hilarious hotel room sex scene had no nudity but enough information that you probably wouldn't want to take children younger than 15-16 to see it. Entertaining way to spend an afternoon.

    Very Funny Movie

    This movie was very funny. Lots of physical comedy pulled off flawlessly. However, there is a sad side to this movie as well. If you need a good laugh, go see this movie.

    Identity Thief

    If you want a lot of good belly laugh's and ;I can't beleave she said that.
    This is a great comedy that delivers Laugh's from start to finish. You'l talk about it on the way home and you may talk about it again before you go to bead. It's just about the funnest movie we've seen in a very long time.

    Funny

    This Movie was great! It had its funny, very funny moments, but the story line at times did not make sense. Some characters do have you scratching your head, but Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy are great, absolutely funny. If it wasn't for them then I wouldn't even waste my time, but they make the movie good!!

    FUNNY

    I have seen this movie twice - and it was just as funny the 2nd time around! In reality, identity theft is NOT funny, but this movie is not reality. It is supposed to make us laugh, forget about life for awhile - and that is what this movie did. Jason & Melissa were wonderful together in this movie. Melissa is a beautiful woman - have loved her just the way she is, in this movie, and past movies. She has a natural sweetness to her. Would I take my kids to see this? Ahhh, no. More adult content! I think the critics have seen waaaay too many movies, and have forgotten about what a movie is really all about. Always seems like the fans have a different opinion. This movie is serious at times, funny a lot of times, and a bit emotional. If a movie can "move you" in some way, then it was well done.

    I liked the movie but it could of been funnier. These are two very funny actors and I think they really could of made it more comical. It did have a good ending though.

    Had some really funny parts, but some really slow parts too

    It would have been a better movie if there was more tracking down and chasing and less of her hooking up from a bar. If you have nothing better to do and nothing else you want to see, then go see it. Otherwise, wait until it comes out on cable.

    Identity Thief

    The movie was funny. The humor was spoiled by the insertion of the "F-bomb" simply to gratify some immature Hollywood type's sophomoric craving. I'm sure he got a kick out of it however the totally inappropriate use of the word was a turn-off for me.

    Identity Theif

    I was disappointed because I really like the actors, but thumbs down! This movie was all over the place, started off frustrating, only had a couple of funny parts. Just didn't really have much to offer. I advise to wait until it comes out on DVD, not worth paying theater prices.

    Melissa McCarthy is hilarious! You'll laugh, and you might just shed a few tears. She rocks this movie. You can't judge a book by it's cover!

    Identity Thief

    I really like both Jason Bateman & Melissa McCarthy, so I was looking forward to this movie. I expected there to be some predictible moments, given the subject matter. There were some awkward & slow moments, but we also had some good laughs as well.

    I would recomment renting this movie instead of spending almost $10 to see it in the theatre.

    Overall, the movie was funny at times, but the bad language was completely unnecessary at parts and it could have been even funnier without it. They did, however do a good job of mixing an emotional plot with comedy that could realistically be the lives of several people.

    If you have a sense of humor, you'll love this movie.

    Melissa McCarthy is the female Chris Farley, so if you enjoy the physical humor that he did, you'll love this Jason Bateman is the perfect straight man foil for her. The audience in our showing was hysterical almost the whole movie, we were as well.
