    Great Laugh!

    From the first few minutes we knew this was going to be a funny movie. There were a few unbelievable parts but overall, very well done. A sweet ending. You will like this film!

    Identity Thief Stole My Laughter!!

    This was a really cute movie. Maybe a bit too realistic. I would hate to have been Sandy for sure. A real feel-good movie to take just about everyone in the family to. Kids won't get the adult humor & there is some bad language throughout the film, but they will enjoy the physical humor. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 7!

    Worth a rental

    My wife and I both are big fans of Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy but the movie was just OK - definitely amusing at times but not very often laugh-out-loud funny. If we had to do it again we would wait for it to be on Netflix and see something else more worthy of the movie cinema.

    Funny Actors Save Bad Script

    There's no denying that the two leads have chemistry and talent. There's plenty of physical comedy and the actors perform with terrific timing. What's missing here is a good story and good lines for them to deliver. Don't expect any memorable lines or scenes. The movie is funny because Bateman and MaCarthy are funny and good together. Unfortunately, that's only enough for those in the mood to enjoy it, but not anyone with a discerning eye.

    Super funny

    Not just a slap-stick kind of funny, this movie was more than that. It was thoughtful, intense at times, and just over all a good movie.

    Identity Thief

    I loved he movie and thought it was very funny. I will buy i when it comes out on DVD. However I am very upset with the review that Rex Reed wroteabout the movie! How dare he call the star of the movie such terrible names. He is very mean-spirited!

    This movie was not only good humor it had a touch of heart to it too. I strongly suggest people see this movie! To some extent I'd give it a C+/B- but I'm easily pleased and that is above average score.

    Ehhh

    It was a good cast and fairly well written but the story line of an accidental road trip with an idiot, crazy person (insert other adjective here) who has screwed the main character over has been waaaaay over played. It was a bad repeat of Due Date and due date wasn't even that funny to begin with.

    Idenitiy Thief review

    Liked the movie...was upset the theatre allowed children ages 5, 8, 10 with their mother
    to attend....It was VERY ADULT...I felt uncomfortable knowing the little ones were
    there...I spoke with the mother....she said it was okay as it was "A COMEDY"..
    The theatre attendant said...children weren't allowed to R Rated after 6, but could go
    to the R RATED matinees>> WHAT ??

    The movie was a comedy..but had a moral to it.....the acting was great....I'm not sure all the bad language was necessary to get the point across...I thought the sexual content was pretty
    gross..........

    Loved It

    This movie was laugh out loud hilarious! Melissa McCarthy never disappoints and teamed wih Jason Bateman...pure genuis!

    You must go see it!

    Rex Reed, your a sad, bitter, miserable idiot and Melissa is laughing all the way to the bank so, TAKE THAT!!!

    Identity Thief

    The movie was good, not GREAT as some made it out to be. Don't get me wrong, love the actors and they do get a thumbs up, but found it a bit boring. The funny parts are the ones they show on TV and thats really it!

    Ummm, it's ok

    A go see for Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy, Amanda Peet should've had a bigger role in it. My complaint with the movie is that the supporting scenes were weak. Who the hell was the guy in jail hunting her down, the two characters doing it, who hired the bounty hunter, what the hell was the snake thing???? And why didn't Jason Bateman go to jail too?????????? All these things, except the snake scene, could've been explored a little more to make it a better movie, which is basically the writers. There are definitely some laughable moments.

    Melissa McCarthy my hero

    Identity Thief was funny from beginning to end. My daughter and I went to see the movie and had an awesome time. Melissa/Sandy is talented,funny,sexy and an all around entertainer. I like her in Mike and Molly also. When she was running from the real Sandy in the movie and he caught up to and she asked him was he Kenyan I split my side laughing. So many scenes almost made me wet myself when he hit her with the guitar and threw the grill at her. The movie also had a touching point when she told her life story almost made you feel sorry for her. NOT!!! lol. I would go and see it again and can't wait for it to come out on DVD so i can buy. This movie is a real picker upper if your feeling down. Two thumbs ups to Identity Thief the movie.

    like all comedies lately, it has lots of funny parts interspersed with WAY TOO MUCH DRAMA. Except this time, you just feel bad for Bateman through the whole thing (if you have a heart, at least), so you feel like a terrible person for laughing at any parts disparaging him.

    Two great actors, but too sad a movie to be enjoyable. However, if you liked Bridesmaids and thought that was actually funny, you're bound to love this one.

    This movie was funny through the entire thing! Melissa McCarthy was hilarious. Would deff buy on DVD when it comes out! love love love. Great date night movie to go out to see!
