    Identity Thief

    Funny, Lots of action a good story line. and a feel good ending. We need more movies like this one. Where are they? I will rent this when it comes out on video and tell my friends to see it.
    The women who played the thief was great. That was really some acting job. She should win an award for her performance.
    Great job on acting, writing, directing etc. Please write more like this soon.

    Seen the Trailer, Then Skip the Movie

    All the laughs are in the trailer. What a slow and poorly written movie. Some of the dialog was sooo slow. And, while I could give a few rotten tomotoes to Melissa Mc and Jason B. I want to single out the especially poor performance by Amanda Peet. Who put her in that role? What horrible acting.

    Overall, a very disappointing movie.

    Funny no matter what critics say

    This was funny. I'm not sure why critics are blasting this movie. It's not like you go to comedies for the cerebral stimulation. You go to laugh at stupid jokes and funny slap stick comedy, and that's what you get. It is what funny films are for: relax and laugh. Have there been funnier films, yes... but this was worth it. Thanks Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman for making us laugh like you always do.

    great movie

    this movie is funny from start to finish , when i read some of the negative reviews that some of these fine people left here i had to wonder if they where watching the same movie as i was , i guess you cant please everyone , if your going to this movie because your looking to grow intellectually then i think you might want to skip this one , if you just want a very funny movie with a couple of really sweet parts this is the one , and if i really want to analyze it i came away with a new prospective on people who you might quickly write off on first impression,they may have a great soul and just need a nudge in the right direction.

    This could have been such a much more funnier movie. I hate when you take a funny movie and you add in too many serious moments and drug dealers. If I could sum this movie up it would be a mix of The Bounty Hunter, Dumb and Dumber, and Planes Trains and Automobiles.

    IDENTITY THIEF

    Myself & my 18 yr old daughter enjoyed the movie, there are parts that are hysterical, parts that make your eyes tear and one particular part that just drags on & honestly could have been edited out without effecting the film, but over all a "GO" to movie.

    Great movie and even greater laughs

    I absolutely love Jason Bateman and Melissa Mccarthy so I knew the two of them together would definitely be a treat for me.... and it was heavenly ! :-)

    Identity Theft

    It was funny and sad at the same time.

    You start out hating the thief but she grows on you during the film.

    It was definitely worth seeing.

    Loved It!

    I saw this for my birthday. I love Megan but was worried Jason would ruin it because he plays such passive roles. I have never laughed so hard, i loved it so much and i loved how she punched everybody in the throats that she felt threatened by hahahaha. She was so bright and colorful it was just an awesome movie

    A Theft Of My Time

    The movie was mildly entertaining, but I would not recommend anyone rush to see it. It was basically a rehash of previous films of the same type. Jason Bateman's talents were wasted....this was basically a movie showcasing Mellisa McCarthy; who was way funnier in "Bridesmaids". It also tries to paint very bad people as victims of society. Not a good lesson for children!

    To my surprise, my husband suggested this movie. And we laughed along with everyone else in the theater. Melissa needs to keep her "day job". I laughed at her singing! Justin has those facial reactions that "crack you up".

    Very funny movie!

    This was a great movie! Very funny. Both Melissa and Jason did a great job. It does make me wonder how easy it is for identity thieves to steal someone's identity. Pretty scary how much it can potentially destroy someone's life. I sure hope the police are more helpful than what they were portrayed in this movie. Yikes! Throughout the movie, I could hear a 3 year old little boy ask his mommy why certain things were happening. THIS IS NOT A KIDS MOVIE. COME ON PEOPLE...SERIOUSLY!!! DON'T TAKE YOUR SMALL CHILDREN TO A MOVIE THAT SHOWS NUDITY AND CLEARLY IS FOR ADULT AUDIENCES ONLY. ITS NOT FAIR TO THOSE AROUND YOU WHO HAVE TO HEAR YOU TRY TO EXPLAIN IT AND ITS MOST DEFINITELY NOT FAIR TO YOUR INNOCENT CHILD TO BE EXPOSED TO INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT!!! HIRE A SITTER!!

    A lot of surprises!!

    The previews didn't ruin the movie. Many funny scenes and McCarthy & Bateman worked very well together. The real surprise is how effective an actor McCarthy is. She not only played her comedic scenes well but the more serious moments were very believable. A very good movie.
