    Idenitiy Thief review

    Liked the movie...was upset the theatre allowed children ages 5, 8, 10 with their mother
    to attend....It was VERY ADULT...I felt uncomfortable knowing the little ones were
    there...I spoke with the mother....she said it was okay as it was "A COMEDY"..
    The theatre attendant said...children weren't allowed to R Rated after 6, but could go
    to the R RATED matinees>> WHAT ??

    The movie was a comedy..but had a moral to it.....the acting was great....I'm not sure all the bad language was necessary to get the point across...I thought the sexual content was pretty
    gross..........

    Freaking Hilarous!!!

    This movie was freaking hilarous and a must see. Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman made me and my boyfriend laugh the WHOLE movie. I also did not recognize Eric Stonestreet. Overall funny funny movie. My boyfriend says he would recommend it too!

    Identity Thief

    I really like both Jason Bateman & Melissa McCarthy, so I was looking forward to this movie. I expected there to be some predictible moments, given the subject matter. There were some awkward & slow moments, but we also had some good laughs as well.

    I would recomment renting this movie instead of spending almost $10 to see it in the theatre.

    Identity Thief

    Very S...L...O...W movie! I actually took a bathroom break and walked around the theater a moment to get my brain kick started again! LOL It had potential to be really good but just left us feeling ripped off.
    We were looking fwd to a laugh out loud Valentines Day date movie and this was very disappointing. Save your money and wait for it to come out on Netflix.

    btw - I totally agree with other reviews here; she is getting type cast and should be careful because she is a better actress than this role allows her the room to portray.

    definately not for kids

    this was a really good movie from the sex scene with the guy in the bar to the violent crash scenes.wasnt at all what i expected but still was really good.this movie had the whole audience laughing at several points in the movie.Bateman and McCarthy were an excellent duo.hope they team up again sometime in the future

    Ok between Due date and Horrible bosses

    The movie was alright. It had its laughs, some of the scenes were to stupid. i like jason bateman, he did a really good job in this movie

    Identity Thief

    Was not as funny as I hoped but it was good. I would wait and rent it instead of paying the high price at the theater.

    Loads of Laughter!

    I haven't laughed so hard while watching a movie in a long time. There are too many funny moments in this movie to mention. All I can say is, go see it for yourself. It will be the best 2 hours you have had in a long time.

    Off the wall

    While I have to admit that there were a few really funny moments in this film...overall, I and the other three people who attended this movie with me, felt like it was a stupid, irritating movie. It is full of vulgar, slapstick, sophmorish humor that just didn't make it.

    Silly funny

    If you are going to make a movie about traveling from point A to point B and you want it to be a comedy, one needs to think what would be funny. Then you remove the violent scenes by removing bounty hunters and street hoods and throw in more scenes that could be enjoyably funny. I think of "The Last Detail" as a funny travel movie. This movie could have turned expensive car wrecking scenes into proper screenwriter payroll.

    I love Jason Bateman too! This movie is hilarious! I don't know what the critics are talking about. I want to see it again and I hope that they come out with an Identity theft 2.

    Comic Potential...that fails

    This movie is a 2 out of 5. Although there was a lot of potential w/ the plot, the movie failed to deliver. The writers decided to add tasteless sections and scenes instead of developing the potential of the story, and they missed the mark. Save your money. Not even worth the $1.29 at Redbox.

    Identy Thief

    Loved this movie, I like to be entertained and laugh, this one was funny from the beginning to the very end!
    Melissa McCarthy is fabulously funny and Jason Bateman was the perfect fit for her counter part.
    Definately not for children, too violent, sex scenes and language.

    Funny

    This Movie was great! It had its funny, very funny moments, but the story line at times did not make sense. Some characters do have you scratching your head, but Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy are great, absolutely funny. If it wasn't for them then I wouldn't even waste my time, but they make the movie good!!
